Stubby, if you were Johnson wouldn't you try to get every cent you can get? By any means necessarily legally? Johnson got his money, Forte didn't. Who was the smarter guy?
Hold out for more money and not earning it. That's not exactly being a man and performing at the level you are getting paid. But you wouldn't know anything about manning up seeing how you never do.

By the way, Peterson has more yards after catch and more yards after contact. So power beats glide, but of course those of us that actually understand football already knew this.

So Matt Forte did the right thing and Johnson was wrong?

THAT'S RIDICULOUS! Backs are done at 29 so get all you can get. Look what the Bears are doing to Forte.

I dont think Johnson did wrong at holding out last season He Did it at the right time. Now Forte He should have held out last year with Johnson because he isnt going to get the money that Johnson & Peterson got. Anyway I dont think Forte is as good as Johnson or Peterson. He is a top back Yes But not the same league.

Compare Forte until after the season. If he holds out then turns out another solid season then he earned it. Chris Johnson held out and got 4 TDs all season. At 13.4M a year for the contract he held out for that is 3.35M per TD.

You haven't learned the game yet. If Forte puts up big number this year the Bears will again franchise him for the 2013 season. Chris Johnson did the right thing and did what you would do he got guaranteed money.

Doubtful they franchise Forte in back to back years. It will cost them 120% of this years franchise salary of 7.7M. That is 9.24M. The Bears aren't dumb enough to pay over 9M for a sub 1000 yd rusher with 3 rush TDs. Even counting his receiving that is still only 1 more TD. He's really not even franchise worthy this year.

I feel sorry for the human blocking dummy at the end of the clip.

This clip is kind of like football porn.
