Anyone who thinks the NFL has hit its quota for fired coaches should sit tight and wait about a week.

maybe jaguars owner wayne weaver will come out of his del rio induced coma and pull his head out of del rio's A$$ long enough to see he has been played for 8 years.
i doubt it though, weave is too cheap and lazy too go through the process of hiring another head coach. |

some coaches need to be fired. some teams the players are helping the coach get fired. sometimes you have to let the coach be the coach without micro management from the owner. some players just sit back and do what they want because the owners sell merchandise from players moving around. let the coach stick his foot up players rear end. example Bill Cowher while at the steelers told the players that he was in charge not them.

I dont. He would have BF come out of retirement again and Mariucci would get his jollies interviewing BF and fellow buttbuddy Gruden. |

Josh McDaniels really needed to walk the plank... he had his head so far up his hindquarters that he could lick his own tonsils!

I thought Steve Mariucci suggested that #4 should retire. [#4 is my reference for Brett Favre] |

MARVIN LEWIS
Head Coach Cincinnati Bengals All Bengal head coaches have been first year head coaches in the NFL and when they leave the team so far none of them have ever went on to head coach another NFL team. The Bengals are probaly the most difficult team in the NFL to coach. It's going to take a special kind of coach to handle this misfit organization. So, unless owner Mike Brown is going to bring in a veteran head coach that has the experience of head coacheing a team through a Super Bowl winning season, then he might as well forget about it. Bring in another rookie head coach and he will probaly have to take years to build up the team and things will probaly get worse before they get better. Look at how many of them came and went during the Bungle era when the team was the worst in the NFL. Marvin Lewis has been the head coach for 8 seasons. He knows the Bengal organization inside and out. The fact that he's had any success at all with these "goonies" is amazing. The Marvin Lewis era has produced 2 winning seasons, 2 playoffs, some 8-8 break-even seasons, and some losing seasons. Hey, it's been a whole lot better under Marvin Lewis than the Bungle era of the early 1990s through 2002. They were 2-14, their worst season ever, and then came Marvin. Are you forgetting that he was the Defensive Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens in their Super Bowl winning season where he built one of the greatest Defenses in NFL history that held teams to under 10 points in most of the games and produced turnovers like running water? So, why hasn't he been able to do it for the Bengals yet? Because the Bengals were full of posers who want to be showmen instead of players and were full of players always getting in trouble with the law, and don't forget quarterback Carson Palmer's major knee replacement surgery resulting from that 2005 Playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Even the biblical Moses would probaly have trouble coaching this team. If the Bengals let him go, he will probaly head coach another team in 2011 due to so many teams needing a head coach and due to his high quality resume. And they'll probaly be easier to handle than the misfit Bungles and Marvin will probaly have several fingers with Super Bowl rings wrapped around them before he retires. Let's keep him a few more seasons and see what happens. |

You are correct but if Favre did come back "Mooch" would have his head firmly planted up #4's backside for more interviews |
