the man didn,t want to leave his wife for her so she ended it for both of them. First it was nice for a few months then she fell in loved and wanted him to leave the wife when he refuse she thought of ending it all. First of all most men are not going to leave home when they get into an out side affair with another woman its only for awhile. then the other woman makes a phone call to let the wife know that she has been sleeping with her husband for many months or years hoping that the man would leave his family for her. Then this is when the upset comes. YOU BETTER THINK FIRST BEFORE GOING WITH ANYBODY THAT HAS BEEN MARRIED FOR A LONG TIME. YOU MIGHT JUST FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO LEAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. MOST MAN WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING AT FIRST. YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE GOTTEN ENOUGH.

The losers in all of this are the four boys who will live the rest of their lives listening to the ridicule bestowed upon them by their fathers actions.And like it or not,HE brought it on HIMSELF! He was a sports Hero.. She would not have bothered with him except for the fame/..Ala Monica Lewinsky..who did the President..Most girls 20 will not go out with a 40 to 60 YO and older man except when they have money or prestidge.If he were poor and a nobody and did not fool around with someones feelings he would still be here. He wanted sugar with his coffee.. instead he got creamed.

Do you not think his wife knew something was going on ? I believe She was the person the killer saw leaving his condo and did in fact follow her. I believe she found out who she was. Perhaps it was her she intended to threaten at first, Perhaps that's why she bought the gun.
Maybe that night they had a discussion about that other woman and He told her it was his wife and that they had a talk and they decided to give their marriage another chance. Maybe she flipped out and pulled the gun and fired it at him, then, not knowing what to do, shot herself.
If it was just a regular night and he fell asleep on the sofa, why would she shoot him ? I'm sure if they had a disussion about going back to his wife he woudn't have fallen asleep afterwards. I'm sure that would have been it and asked her to leave.
Maybe that's what happened. Maybe he told her he was going back to his wife and did ask her to leave. Maybe she left all messed up, then came back later after deciding to end it all for both of them. Maybe she had a key. Then maybe she saw him asleep on the sofa, pulled out the gun and fired a bullet into his head.
What baffles me are the 4 shots to McNair. Why 4 ? If the first shot was to his temple as the police indicate, then he was already dead. There was no reason for the other 3 shots. The 2 shots to his chest were not at point blank range, then 1 more shot to the other temple at point blank range. There were no misses, all shots taken hit the target. This from a woman who never shot a gun in her life ? Not even a threatening warning shot that hit a wall or something? All this is puzzling. The fact that only one shot was fired into his girfriend does indicate murder suicide however, the 3 other shots don't make any sense to me.
This Girl bought the gun and had it in her posession. I don't see how anyone could have taken it from her to stage this murder but we don't know that for sure. The police indicate that there wasn't anyone else in the condo at the time of this incident that they could determine.
There were at least 2 other people who were in the room before the police came to the scene. A friend of McNair's and the person he called that came over. Why that call first ? Why did 1 hour and a half go by before they called the police ? I don't understand that either. If I saw a friend shot to death in his house along with his Girlfriend, I myself would immediately call 911, wouldn't you ?
The 3 extra shots, A Friend coming into the condo, then calling another person to come over, That other person calling the police and no comments from His wife all baffle me.
I want to see all of these explained before I'll believe 100% that this was if fact a simple Murder/Suicide.
The fact that some people believe that McNair deserved all this because he was married and befreinded another woman is absurb. It shows ignorance, which means you don't understand something. Don't judge a peron until you walked in their shoes. He lived and breathed playing football his whole life. Without football it did leave a big void in his life. Maybe his marriage had troubles and maybe him and his wife grew apart like a lot of relationships. Obviously there was something wrong there and it doesn't mean it was his fault either. Maybe he needed something to fulfill him at this point in his life. I mean, He's not the only one and men aren't the only one's needing something more in there life to fulfill it. Things change and people change and we all want to be happy.
It's great that some relationships last a lifetime but that's not the reality of all relationships. So don't go critizing people without knowing the details of their life and the situation they are in. Steve McNair was not a bad person whatsoever. Did he make bad choices ? Probably, we all have made bad choices in our lives. It doesn't mean we deserved to die over them.

Hey Fred- I think the 4 shots do make sense.I think she was really mad,and since he was a lot bigger than her,she wanted to make sure she got it done.The police ruled that she did it,and I'm sure that forensics people checked everything through.But it is a shame that a guy that did so much good in his life-gets snuffed out because he couldn't keep his pants zipped.
