The N.E. Journal of medicine recently published a military study, connecting ruptured eardrums to a new type of "hidden brain injury" never discovered before.Rodger Goodell, the NFL commisioner, has now ordered the study of a medical device which centers on this very same "hidden brain inury". The reason, a simmilarity in chin strap designs in football and military helmets. NFL statistics confirm a drastically lower concussion rate in one team, a team who's majority of players are fitted with the device. A well known diagnosable condition indicates a need for the device which corrects orthopedics and cartilage structures of the head and neck. The Dean of research at Tufts University is preparing an independent study of the procedure. He explains, the NFL has its own adgenda, an irrefutable study is needed. The procedures inventor calls the NFL's study methodology, a waste of time. More focus is needed on this lone light on the horizon of concussion prevention. www.mahercor.com
