Everett Doctor: Months And Years Of Rehab Ahead
One of the doctors treating Kevin Everett says the injured Bill likely has many months, and perhaps years of rehabilitation ahead of him.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with Kevin and all of his family and friends. I was glad to see that some have gone to go see him at the hospital, that shows great support and caring. He will never know how many people our thinking and praying for him.

We in WNY should be very proud of the Doctors and facilities that are available for such a terrible injury. Also kudos to the Bills medical staff, trainers and paramedics.

I hope and pray for a continued miracle with this young man. And the Bills medical staff at the stadium did an outstanding job when he was injured and did it in front of thousands of people no less.

I think that the doctors are trying the best they can, but what about family and friends? They are probably asking for answers not even the smartest doctors in the county can give them. Also, Everett will obviously will not be playing football anytime soon, so what is he going to do after he recovers, if he can ever move his hands a gain that is.

If each of us are lucky enough, we experience an ephnify(sp) in our lives, I think that this experience is Kevin's . Continued prayers go out to him, that he comes to fully appreciate and understand, what God has plotted for his life on earth. That is the only way, I can understand some of the tragic things that happens to families and individuals.God's path for our lives are not alway what we plan for ourselves, but we must adjust and accept and continue. I hope and pray everyday that Kevin improves a liitle each day. My daughter got excited when she heard on the radio that Kevin moved his fingers and I was grateful that he did. The prayers of all the fans are really working and as long as everyone prays for Kevin he just may produce another miracle and have a full recovery even though it will take a long time.
God Bless his family especially his mother for these the past few days had to be really rough on her. She has faith her son will recover completely and with that faith how can he not. God Bless Kevin and let him know our prayers are with him. |

Sometimes loved ones "see" improvements in a person's conditon because they are praying with all of the hope in their hearts and souls. We sometimes can be in denial of the apparent situation of someone we love. I believe that is what Kevin Everett's family is doing and this is SOOOOO NORMAL!!!! We all want our loved ones healthy, happy and strong!! I CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR KEVIN AND HIS FAMILY .
