What if Minn unloaded the 3rd pick? Would you be upset or ok with it?
IF i were a viking fan,id have mixed emotions.....
on one hand,you could land your LT Kalili
on the other hand,with a few positions,you can land a nice amount of picks for the 3rd overall and can really do the team a great Justice and fill many holes.
BUT one can argue LT is the most important position behind QB and protecting Ponder is of the uttmost importance.

Offensive lineman are not worth a top 5 pick. We need someone who scores TD's or defends against them.

having a great qb who is laying on his backside.Or having a probowl quality WR if your qb doenst have time to throw just wont do.
build a team from the line of scrimmage out.You have a nice qb and a LT will be another top notch piece and protection and abit extra time may make your WR a bit better.

Look at the Packers last year,,an offense that ranked amung the best in the league,NO passrush and it bit them on the backside come playoff time.Again,build from the line of scrimmage out.

I wouldnt like the Vikings giving up there third pick at all., Myself I dont see them using all 10 of there picks. I think they will use a few to move up to get a player there after. Anyway I dont see the Vikings trading off the third pick for What a 4th & 5th round picks. The Vikings have two 4th round picks now & I dont see them trading 3rd for a 4th & 5th they wouldnt be getting the same value players of a third round pick. Maybe if the team added the 4th 5th & a 6th Then I could see the Vikings making that trade Droping one 3rd round & getting three rounds worth of value

Yes I'm hoping we do take mark barron we haven't had a quality safety since Darren Woodson retired go COWBOYS!
