Have to agree the bears have blundered away good team and Lovie, who I really liked as become a stubborn fool who resist all good things. IE Ron Rivera over bozo the clown, I mean Bob blunder, or babich or whatever his name is that couldnt call a defensive game to save his life. Face it, when Ron left so did the defensive ferocity, passion, hitting, swagg er and bad attitude, ever since then the bears have been mush.

to put the Bears "offense" over the last decade into perspective, when the Bears complete an 8-yard pass at mid field we all cheer like it was a touchdown. For most other teams, thats worth a golf clap or two.
Essentially, we've been conditioned to see basic plays as monumental accomplishments. I'll always be a Bears fan, but sometimes I watch other games just to see what a real NFL offense looks like. so sad. |

And when the first teams is done, bring in Caleb to quarterback the second string. Let's see how he does against a better defense instead of wasting time with Grossboy-'cause u know what u got with the crybaby.

My 2 Cents,
Jerry Angelo needs to have someone with football knowledge put between him and Ted Phillips. That way the proverbial "writing is on the wall". Let him & Lovie know that wasting money on either putrid or injured draft picks no longer will be tolerated. Boring, uninspired & insane playcalling (Wolfe up the middle) would also not be tolerated. The BlackHawks brought in Scotty Bowman to send a message, time for the McCaskeys to wake up! |

GO Bear's! Good luck in 2008!! YOUR TRUE FANS WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU!! Hopefully all these fair weather so-called Bear fans will go away & join another team!(That would be great). They only add insult to injury.I hear you all say,I am sick of it,I am not watching anymore, boycott the bears. So quit talking about it & do it,just go away already. We dont want you here anyway!!! Dont let the door hit you in the butt on your way out! Take your misery elsewhere, you make us proud die hard fans sick! You dont deserve to be a Bear fan,so bye bye.Quit talking and crying about it & just go away!! Us die hard fans are proud to be Bear fans & will support them win or lose.We support our Bears,as fans make a difference! We dont back stab the players & talk trash about our own team! We keep our frustrations in house! It is sad how many weak minded fools listen & follow the media!! Support breeds success & confidence. It would be great to weed out all these loser, non supportive, trash talking so-called fans out of here! So Just go away already,if you cant handle Football dont watch it! I always look forward to watching my Bears play,as i have for 37 years! I get excited for every game, regardless of the circumstances.Maybe if you all Trash talkin so-called fans finally go away.We will be able to finally develop a Q.B & give him a chance, rather than tearing down his confidence,& booing him as he learns. As the true fans will support him so he can learn & get better.Because it takes time for Q.B's to adapt & learn.Until then No Q.B will ever develop in this town, cause the so-called fans wont give them time to learn & develop, before they destroy the kid & his confidence.Dont blame management for it,it is YOUR FAULT that Q.B's fail here! To all the true die hard Bear fans out there.Take care & Bear Down for another year of Bear Football!! GOD BLESS!! GO BEARS,YOUR TRUE FANS WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU!!!

1st time in a long time I agree with Haugh..he is usually an annoyance, but today he is right on
BEARS........ PUT UP OR SHUT UP! BEARS...PLAY GOOD FOOTBALL OR FIRE THE OFFICE AND COACHING STAFF |
|
Can we sign Vinny Testies or Jeff George? I believe they both are still available. Da Bears |
|
Hey Jude: Don't be so sad. Take a bad team and make it better. The Bears will start out with a few losses but will get it together to make a run for the playoffs. |

Cut me and I bleed navy and orange. Rip the Bears in front of me and expect to get a "face full". Been like this since I can remember and wiil probably always be.
Like everybody else, I certainly have had my doubts about talent and coaching and so on. But, in the end, I'm still a huge fan of Chicago football. So, David I find myself agreeing to the thrust of your article and can't help but hope that somebody lights a fire under this year's line-up. It would be gratifying to see them make a statement against the '49ers. However, it's still an exhibition and if they play like junk, so be it. The money doesn't hit the table until Sept. 7. GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!! |

Oh, this is so sad, but true. This team will be dreadful this year, I hope I'm wrong...

Hanna, UT , you truly are your hook. Your undying optimism is great. Realize though that everyone writng on this forum is a Bears fan, that's why there is frustration. A fair weather Bears fan wouldn't take the time to read these articles. You can have your optimism, but don't let it blind you from the the reality of the product. |

Not only is the Offense garbage but the Coaches are completely enept!!! Only good things about this season are big changes should happen at the end of it.

Excellent perspective in the article, however "in 2007 the Bears were considered a lock for the Superbowl"??? Anyone who thought that has never watched a football game in his life. There are no locks, especially in the NFL and especially with the Bears.

Just to show you what a flip-flopper I am on the Bears, I offer the following:
Nothing is going to change from whatever the Bears owner/management system provides. Soldier Field is sold out until the twelth of never. Orton is still the best option for the very, very short term, only because they can win with him, while surrounded by something less than professionals. Hainie should start as soon as the season is decided in a negative way. Like Orton last year, a lot is shown about a player's confidence and capabilities, when the opposition still has something to prove, both as a team in contention and individuals in a contract year. Lovie and crew have no football personality and do nothing to inspire fans or players when they have press conferences that amount to verbal dodge-ball. Say something! Put me and your other critics in their place. Don't have to be mean or offensive (God forbid), just make a case with the FACTS, not PR dribble/drone. Again invoking Butkus benchmark. No, we can't play his technique, in current league-rule games, but his style and demeanor need to be instilled in every member of the defense. I think I've seen a reduction, on the Bears at least, of play by play celebration or demonstration. Some of this comes by league rule, but some may be that we're getting brighter about celebrating doing your job on one play. Keep up with this reduction. Imagine, if you will, having a demoralizing game strategy against a puffy proud opponent and not celebrate any of the pivotal plays involved until you're off the field. Your future opponents realize that you expected to win with a demoralizing strategy and therefore had no reason to celebrate. |

Be afraid be VERY afraid.................

Fire the whole damn coaching staff and bring back someone who knows how to coach smash mouth Bears football!
|
|
Nice to hear from you, good ole' number 58. |
|
|
Until the Bears get rid of Ron Turner this offense will never produce anything but turnovers and angry fans!!!!!
