"Peyton Manning’s streak of 160 straight starts doesn’t appear in serious danger after minor knee surgery. But the superstar quarterback’s medical problems — an infected bursa sac in his left knee — only adds to the long injury list the Indianapolis Colts will face when they open training camp July 25. Not only will Manning be unavailable, but so will defensive end Dwight Freeney, wide receiver Marvin Harrison and safety Bob Sanders, the NFL’s defensive player of the year last season." Now how much is a pre-season ticket to see the Colts again?

I don't get why people would pay to see the inside of a building, unless times are so tough they figure that's the only way they will EVER be inside Lucas Stadium. I read an article in the STAR on Monday about the average family being priced out of Pro Games. I know I have to wait until someone GIVES me tickets to see a game.....groceries and bills get in the way of my fun dang it!

Probably the only reason some are going is for the elephant ears & deep-fried twinkies.

I got my tour tickets for free through Ticketmaster. I really wanted to go and be able to see the place from the field, walk around inside the locker rooms, and tour the luxury boxes, but I would never pay for something like that. I may end up having a couple extra tickets for the tour, and if I do I plan to find someone to give them to, but I would never ask for money for them. As far as pre-season, those guys barely play in those games anyway. Pre-season is more about sorting out the rest of the roster, figuring out who's going to have a job when the season starts. I am a true fan who is actually excited when I see reserve players getting a chance to show what they can do. I always go to one pre-season game each year. This year I am going to the Bills game, which will be the first Colts game in the Luke. I checked StubHub last night, and you can get tickets to either the Bills game, or the Bengals pre-season game for about $20 apiece right now.

And for those who are worried about the QB situation, Jim Sorgi was a Big 10 quarterback drafted in the 6th round to backup a #1 overall draft pick. There is another QB who fits that same description.

Both were drafted in the 6th round Sorgi at #193 in 2004 and Brady at 199 in 2000. Both were brought in as back-ups to former #1 overall picks, Sorgi to back-up Manning and Brady to back-up Drew Bledsoe.

I am also excited to see how Darrell Reid and Clint Sessions look this year. I wonder if we're gonna get another "Reid Bombing" this year?

Time to heal Colts>Pats Colts guys on the PUP list are expected to be back for the season opener, while most of the guys on the Pats PUP list are expected to miss the beginning of the season since they got injured in Super Bowl 42 as apposed to the Colts guys who all aside from Hagler were injured in the div. round of the playoffs or earlier. So lets see here that's like what 3 or 4 (at the least) more weeks the Colts guys on the PUP list have had to heal then the Pats guys. The big difference will be that the NFL has once again handed the Pats their schedule on a silver platter. How does a team that goes undefeated in the regular season get the weakest schedule in the league?

Rmember this season that entire div. aside from New England (who lost the most in free agency) made the biggest splash in free agency.+ the NFC West is very simular, lots of underated teams. Now personally I think San Diego has an easier schedule. They are in arguably the eaiest div. in the AFC. And some how their div managed to slide the second easiest div in the AFC (AFC East) and the easiest div in football (NFC South) on to their schedule. And the Chargers managed to host New England and Indy at home. And get this they also get the Jets at home, Buffalo on the road on Oct. 19th or 20th, and Denver on the road in September. Then the only game against a good NFC team (New Orleans) the Chargers play was supposed to be at New Orleand, but the NFL decided to more that game to Lundon. Then after that game the Chargers have a by week then play Kansas City at home. Then the only other 2 cold weather games the Chargers have to play are Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh in Nov. and Kanasas City at Kansas City in Dec. And on top of all that the Chargers open their season hosting the Carolina Panthers. Now I wanna know how the 2 teams playing in last seaon's AFC conferance title game managed to land the 2 easiest schedules in the NFL. But also keep in mind that for the most part everyone else has diemed New England's schedule as the easiest in the NFL and since 2002 of all the teams who have had the easiest schedule only 1 has made the play offs and the same goes for all the teams who have gone to the super bowl and lost. I am honestly surprised that the New England game is here. The Colts have a really tough schedule this year, I think the only schedule that's tougher might be Pittsburgh. First of all, the AFC South IS the toughest division. Jax will be really good this year, and I expect Houston to be a serious contender. I'm not so sure about your comments on the AFC East. Miami is a joke. Maybe Tuna can turn it around in a couple of years, but they will be lucky to ger 5 wins this year. The Jets might be interesting to watch as they did make a lot of off-season moves, but until they get a solid QB they will be no match for the Fatriots. Buffalo, well, they're Buffalo. Unpredictable at best. They have a lot of pieces necessary for a playoff run, but whether or not they can put them together remains to be seen.

OK, I agree with you on everything except for the AFC south. I think the NFC East is a bit tougher. Secondly what about SD do you think they have an easier schedule then New England??????????
