If this came from anybody but Shooter (or Sid), I'd give it a moment's thought.

Hmmmm.....
Let me get this straight......

If you want to go to the Vikings vs Packers game..........they are FORCING you to buy tickets to another game?! I've never heard of before.

Why not force EVERYONE to buy season tickets while you're at it!
That's insane.
I'm not sure if I buy it.

Actually quite often the only sell premium games with pre- season requirements. That's how they get things sold out. I am not saying I agree with it, but it's normal. At least for the Vikes...

I don't know why there are any comments on any site over Brett Favre.

He is 100% going to play for the Vikes. Since he was released by the Jets, it was a done deal. Period. That's why the VIkes only gave a little to get a Sage, as he was a lower cost insurance policy. And that's why Cutler was "shot down" by some on the coaching staff as a possibility. It's a done deal.

I dont know what more he has to prove. Go out a winner and not a loser like the Vikings.

Not only that but I think it's the Vikings way of trying to keep Packer fans out of the Dome. Think about it, why would Cheeseheads want to see a preseason game between the Vikes and the Chiefs. If memory serves me correctly it was a preseason Vikes vs. Jags game a few years back.

Favre's motivation to stick it to the Packers may backfire....the bigger motivation will be the Packers sticking it to Favre....and at 40 years old, he better put on his track shoes.

Of course, from where I sit, it's a win-win situation. If the Vikings do well with him at QB, then that's a good thing. If the Favre led Vikings fall on their face, then that's a funny thing.

Either way, the games are sold out, and that is all that matters. The NFL is in the entertainment business. Our quality of life does not depend on it.

They don't, it's just a way of jacking up the price for a hot ticket (Vikes/Pack).

Try getting a ticket for the game in Green Bay...all 10 of their games are sell outs, so the option to package tickets isn't needed.

So he already has purchased a home in Bearpath (last week) and now a deposit on a place in Edina (this week). Will he buy another couple houses before he signs???

It is somewhat true though...It was a pretty much done deal after he left the Jets..I will be cheering for Favre once he jogs out on to the turf with a purple jersey on. Go Vikes!

Daily Horoscope for November 10

Libra

With the sensitive Moon transiting your twelfth house of secrets and spirituality, you may not care for the company of others today. Make an effort to feed your soul this afternoon, whether you indulge in aroma therapy, yoga, or a chocolate ice cream treat. Being alone for any length of time should be therapeutic. Tell your loved ones you need some alone time and then take it!
