Kelly Holcomb maybe dealt to Minnesota?

Question, remember the song, "Tears In Heaven"? That is what Avant is gonna be crying if he reads this blog.

Holcomb as the starter? Uh, I've gotta question that one. I also think it would be wise to just let Philly cut him and then pick him up. I think he would only be good for 3 years max. I wouldn't want to spend a late round pick for a veteren that is injury prone and hasn't got much life left!

What do you think?

Since posting the above blog, I've also thought of another question. Why did we pass on Carr (or any other veteren QB for that matter) and now in the late stages of free agency decide to pick up a veteren QB?

Somebody explain this one to me?

We didn't get Carr because he's shell shocked.

I'll try. The coach thinks our qb situation is good. I agree. Like Carr, Holcomb comes with baggage. Holcomb's baggage is he stinks.

I'll give it a go as I see that no one has responded to your question.

It looks like Childress has come to his senses and sees Jackson is just not ready. We will probably pick up Holcomb now, which will really tick me off, because we should have gotten Carr, who will be an outstanding NFL QB. We blew it on that one!

Holcomb? He's still around. I don't know, he had a few decent years but.... Then again who do the Vikes have. What the hell, he can't be worse than Henson.

People that think David Carr is good doesn't coach the vikings or any other team. Nobody wanted to trade for the bust.

Fran, you might be more correct that what you think!

We don't need to talk about David Carr anymore. The great coach Childress dismissed the idea of him being a viking.

why not go after holcomb. childress didnt want to give up a 4th round for carr a late round sounds ok too me
