Barnett's Agent Seeks League Action
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Nick Barnett might not file a formal grievance against NFL official Jim Quirk after all.

Umpire Quirk may have upset that whiner Barnett, because Quirk tackled better than Barnett and all the other packers that day.

I am a life-long Bear fan, but I believe that Nick Barnett had at least ten tackles against us and is going to the Pro Bowl. How would we feel if Umpire Quirk had done the same thing to a Bear? Get realistic. The guy deserves better treatment as a player no matter what team he is on.

The official was trying to break up fight that seemed to be escalating. The only harm done to Barnett was being embarassed by being handled so easily by Quirk It's a violent game and people get tossed around. If Barnett was not involved in the fight none of this would be under discussion

Give it up Nick. You are beginning to look like a wimp. Take it like a man and move on before you embarrass yourself even more.
