You would need experience with these two breeds,I
do not recommend them to a first time owner..You have to research the breed of a dog before you
aquire it,to see what its needs are..also your home should have really adequate space for these
high energy dogs..In a winter season you would have to have a treadmill,or some other way of getting the energy out of them. The breeds you are
discussing need tremendous work,And really proper
handling..I suggest a nearby Shelter,and a lot of
serious thinking before you select any animal to
ensure it will fit in with your life style for many years to come.It is not a toy to be bored with,or tired of.

This was my response to the persons request..Added the climate because I
have experienced the Brass Monkey
weather personally!

In May a woman called Chattanooga police when she saw her neighbor cut the ears off his puppy with a pair of scissors. When they arrived the puppy was bleeding profusely in the back yard and a rusty pair of scissors was nearby. Oswaldo Padilla Garcia, 23, was hiding in the attic of the house.
Police also found a “dark house”— a windowless dog house used to teach the animals to become aggressive and violent once they see daylight. Police believe the dark house is evidence that Mr. Garcia intended to train Rux as a fighter.
They rushed Rux to an animal hospital where they stitched his ears and stopped the bleeding. Fortunately no arteries had been cut or he could have bled to death.
In court Garcia-Padilla reluctantly agreed to give up Rux and pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, but denied being involved with dog fighting. He was put on probation for a year, given ten days of community service and must pay the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center $1,200 for housing and vet bills. He also can't be around a dog for one year.
According to the director of the McKamey Animal Care Center “When (Mr. Garcia) saw Rux on the sidewalk, he started to cry and told me he never wanted to hurt him.”
Captain Dianna Burrow who works for Chattanooga’s animal services division is going to adopt Rux.
[Captain Burrow] was grateful the neighbor made the call that possibly saved the pup’s life.…she cannot imagine Rux, whom she described as a “people lover,” ever being raised to kill other dogs or having to constantly defend his own life as a trained fighter.“I can’t imagine doing that to such a sweet dog.”
Garcia Padilla,Hmmmm??
Real nice guy??????
Can't be around dogs for a YEAR???????
Isn't that kind of harsh?

Pardon my sarcasm but I'm so friggin' fed up
with these kind of stories.

Guess you purposely skipped my post uh???
Look again at the Breeds the person was requesting??? When you have as much hands
on experience as I do,you would not make
such ridiculous,flippant remarks? In fact
you are being contradictory to other posts
you have made..trying to be inflammatory??

You have evidence that the ASPCA,left the cats to
deliberately starve to death??? Find that very hard
to believe?????

Phoenix Falcon Hmmmmm That sounds like latin for Shit Hawk. To answer your question, yes bull fighting is abuse. If you have ever watched one you would not have to ask the question. You made this statement.

BANNED FROM WHAT? LIFE? does " anyone " include hunters, zoos, fishermen, framers, people who eat meat, people who own leather?

To my knowledge none of these people abuse animals except for a framer? Not sure what they do. Yes they Kill them for food clothing etc but the animals serve a purpose and are not tortured or abused before that happens. Mike Vick and other dickless idiots kill and abuse simply for their own pleasure and entertainment. The death of the animal serves no other purpose than just that. To defend Vick and others then you are saying killing defensless beings is personally gratifying. Surely any grade one student can tell you the difference. You did pass grade one didn't you? Maybe not. You truely should get a mental health evaluation. Most serial killers start out with animals. Just look up Jeffrey Dahmer althoug I doubt you have to. You were probably cell mates.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aries

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
