Monday's game will be great. If the Vikes win, great. Get back on track as the schedule gets easier. If not we finally have no excuse to fire the bum we call coach Childress. I really cannot stand the guy. He is so frustrating to watch coach. Bring back Bud Grant. Hire Cowher or Schottenheimer. Bring back Dennis Green. Anything but Childress.

While he is not the primary on every play on many passes to him I saw Gus look at him first and make the throw. If the TE is catching slants and outs then he is the primary as those are quick routes. When a play busts up and a TE dribbles down the middle to find an opening in coverage then he is a check down receiver. When have you ever seen Shank-ho dribble down the field and find an opening.
When TJ cam in late, he had a pass play where he rolled left and ended up taking a sack. On that play Shank-ho was running a left crossing pattern and TJ was locked on to him. The idiot Shank-ho never looked back for the ball unitl he got to coverage. TJ smartly did not throw to Shank-ho but dumbly he didn't look for another receiver. Anyone who recorded the game reqind a couple minutes and look at the play and watch Shank-ho. He hung his QB out to dry. Wide open and didn't look for the ball.
if you don't know anything about football, why do you comment on it?

What's that? I can't hear you very well. I can't hear you well because you are not yelling loud enough with your head buried up your a$$.

This is the kind of response you will continue to get when you post cheap shots at people who are making perfectly valid points about football. I've seen your running feud with JD and all you have done is prove to everyone that you are a complete and total A$$.

if you say so. Anyway, recievers look for the ball when they are supposed to. WCO is a timing offence where recievers run precise timing routes. it's hard for any reciever to run downfield while continully looking at the quarterback. i would have thought even you could figure this out. maybe try driving your car forward while only looking in your rear-view mirror.

besides, i beat JD badly. But he is much brighter than you, apparantly.

That's a good point about Shankho. And one more example of what a buffoon we have as a coach.
1981.......Eagles at Vikings, 7-42.

1982 ......49ers at vikings, 7-42.

These games are coming to mind.

This game tonight could be baddddd.

But I gotta ask....WHY NOT fire Klink now?

I watched Green Bay- Atlanta yesterday and by god Atlanta looked good.

It was not until the 4th quarter I realized: "Hey....no Vick,no problem".

AND, I cannot recall who coached Atlanta last year.

Tough decisions, new QB, new coach, new atmosphere.

The Vikings need such changes. Klink needs to be an assisstant, he is not CEO material.

CHANGE NOW!

Relax Harry, it won't be that bad. We have a lot of good personnel that will, even if by instinct, make some good plays. I'm not ruling out a big score but the Saints D is very average and they will get a healthy dose of AD. In fact I suspect AD will set a personal high for carries as Chilly truies to take the ball out of his QB's hands and avoid turnovers. Ball control and time of possession will be tonight's mantras.

Unfortunately Brees and company will eat up the D with a lot of crossing passes to make Henderson's replacement look sick. They will substitute a running ball control game with a short passing game and screens etc to keep their own D off the field. It should be a close game. However if they get ahead early we are done.... and cheer the next day when we read Chilly got fired.

The Vikes won. Ugly, but they won.

Very interesting. They lose the starting LB, the radio helmet LB, the soul of the defense, and others step up!

Maybe special teams and the offense need a few tweaks. Let some others show what they got.

Berrian really showed up in the 4th Q. That impressed me.

I'm shocked they won. But the sloppy play and penalties are on Brad Childress. He still needs to go.
