And I have another trip planned to go back to Florida to get a u-haul and a TON of my grandparents furniture. What a head ache that will be, but the good news is that my kids are all moving out ... YEE-HA! And they will have plenty of good furniture to use. This isn't that cr@p stuff, it old hard wood well made, it has lasted a 100 years and has all been recovered and looks great. My boys are excited about it, wing back chairs, maple bedroom suits, secretaries, couches ..... tons of stuff for them to start with.

Off to the tub for me, I'm hot and sticky ... good ole muggy Georgia.

No Mississippi, this is from a guy that completely understands what reaction formation is. You 'USED' to be a really fun and classy poster, now, not only have you become a complete joke but you set yourself up to fail...this is what I understand to be a difference...be what you want, do as you please but you are a lot less then you used to be, and you are no match for me.

God knows, I try. You try. Is a ball rolling down a steep hill. But unless they have seen the ball release as we did, they will never get it.

Well years ago I read a study that found a large majority of police and firefighters were raised in abusive households.

There are three reasons for choosing one of these two careers. 1. They want to be in a place of power ... a place where they think no one can hurt them again. These men are often aggressive so they may be seen as someone not to fcuk with. 2. They want to help children in their situation. Sometimes they are cruel to the mothers/wives being abused because they blame their own mothers for not leaving. 3. They want to be a hero ... a better person than their father was. This way there is no link between them and their dads. He was an azs and his son was a hero.

This explains part of the reason why there is police brutality.

Even when they join the force with the best intentions, at times that gut instinct kicks in. This is what they were shown to do there entire lives.
