We are still recovering from our 'weather event' from last year that damn near flattened half of the town. Been a lot of places, been in a lot of weather, but, I have never been in weather such as came that evening. Everyone down here says was wind shear . Came in from the west and walked across town to the east. Hit everyone here and there. Someone said was like bubbles falling from the sky. Didn't see any pictures. Some of the winds took bark completely off trees leaving nothing but shinny bark.
Since then, every time the wind gets bad trees come down. More so than normal.
All in all, I got up early this morning so I could catch the first falling snow flakes. Fed the birds and now am enjoying a cup of coffeed and watching the show. Until the wind really picks up, then might be hanging out in the downstairs. As, my house is akin to a tree house and I live in the trees.
