I am a Christian, and the world's weather patterns have been in a 100 year mild-phase that we are coming out of, now. This is actually NORMAL weather in the history of the earth.
Even Christ knows not the day or the hour, He said so. You never know; for you, for me, or for a loved one, the world could 'end' today.
Live each day like He could be here for you, tomorrow. Peace.

Christ is the ONLY one who knows when he'll return.

Matthew 24: 36

I agree that prophecy is getting interesting, but we are not to live our lives looking for it.
It says we will be marrying, partying and carrying out our affairs up until the day He comes; which implies a huge surprise, to me.

As I said, He could come for anyone, at any time.
Even non-christians agree on the principle of living each day as though it could be their last.
It is ALL we can do about any of it, anyway.

I think this is a sure sign that MOSES is going to return and when he does the first thing he is going to do is crack you over the head with his tablets.

Yes it does say the Father only!! Meaning God himself does know when he will return!!

I see it like this. Remember way way back in elementary school, say 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade, when some kid would get beaten up by some other kid and the kid that got beaten up would start crying and say something such as: "Wait until I tell my father on you, he's gonna kill you."

We all live in the real world populated by people who might act in a way that is distasteful or unfavorable to others. Most roll with it and move along. Some grow into adulthood wishing that daddy will make it all go away.

I am perplexed by all this roaring. better repent before it's too late, and stop eating shellfish. Is KFC an abomination unto the Lord as well?

I simply embrace life in the present, and try to make sure I'd have no regrets if a loved one was called home.

If you are going to point fingers, you need to research some of why you have become a believer in the first place, many people tend to learn just what they need to gain places of control via religion, don't be one of them..

It is true we will not know the day nor the hour, but Jesus did say how to discern the times and He has told us To study and He will show us the times. One sign is when Israel signs a peace tready with many for a time of 7. This marks the beginning of the last seven years and will be the worse time since the beginning of time or ever will be. He also warned that deception will be worse than ever. People will follow false teachings and many false prophets. Mohammad is the biggest one we know of now. There are many.

You are taking two separate statements in combination, I guess I understand your confusion..

The Nero statement had to do with Pais commenting about the 'no partying' and not deflecting reasons and blame for behavior.
My statement about finger pointing was about you saying it sounded like she thinks she is God, That is the reason I brought up 'finger pointing and rethinking your statement of being a believer.That statement still stands. As far as what it has to do with believing in God, you have to make that call for yourself.
