What is the SCAREDuST,,, you have ever been?

One night, when I was waaay younger, I watched this snake movie entitled,"SSSSS".... .. well, it went off. and I was about to go to bed. as I was walking through the hallway of my home, my freakin brother, RETODD,,,, reaches out from under the bed and grabs my leg and goes,,, "SSSHHHHHH"......

Boy, I swear I believe I came outta my skin.. I mean I jumped through the roof.. I had to go to the bathroom after..... haahha.......(Don't know why I just told you all that'n)

When I drove over 5 hours to come visit the mighty Duh & Lady Retta...Then, there you were, sittin' on your porch tunin' up the banjo...

When my 8 year old son did not get off the school bus. We could not find him. Three hours passed, and after driving to the school, then taking the route the school bus took... he walks up, safe and sound.

Turns out, he had to pee so bad, he missed the 1st bus, that he always took. Dumb teacher told me, oh, yeah he got on the bus, failed to say the *Later* bus.

The thoughts racing through my head. I've faced death a few times, nothing like the fear I felt that day.

Ganny chick..see ya made it baccck to Offbeat..glad to see ya! My scaredust moment was...when the movie JAWS came out..me and my chickpals were taking a shortcut down the alley..and Alice was humming THAT FREAKIN' tune..scared the livin' heck out of me...

I can feel ya Pix.. One time my little 3 year old Z got away from us in like fifteen minutes.. I turned and he just was'nt there.. I called out his name. The river right behind our house was up , but was a little journey to it.. Shew,, I shrieked... I called out his name and headed to the river.. I looked everywhere.. Then we started looking next door. NOTHING!.. Boom..

Then finally we went two doors down and this old man was just laughing.. He pointed to underneath his bed.... WHEW!!... He was hiding from us playing a game.. I grabbed that little fellow and hugged him like no tomorrow...

THose yungins can get away from a person in just a flash. We tried to keep a more WATCH on him. and tried to explain to him the dangers and all.. I still don't know if he ever really ever got it.. Cause I have not idea where he is right now.. He is 22.... SHEESH!!

I think one of the scariest time for me was when my son was 6 mos. old.His drunken dad took off with him in the rain and on foot.I called the police for help and all they said to me was ,It's his child too...I didn't know what to do.I waited for the return of my baby.Hoping and praying that God would keep him safe.Finally my son was home by his dad.My son was sick and he got sicker.All I can say is that God has watched over my son and me many a times.

In Iraq with mortars comming in!(I still have flashbacks)

Real live action..in a Real World..Never knowing at any instant if you will cease to exist..VERY SCARY..to say the least..prayers of strength and endurance are being sent your way..

April 2009, wild fires destroyed over 100 homes in my area. We had to be evacuated and could see the fire coming in to our neighborhood as we left. We had to watch the rest on TV and could swear that our house was gone. It was the house next door. By the time it was all said and done, 14 homes in our little neighborhood alone were gone. That's got to be the most scared I've ever been, that I remember..
