Of course they defend it. After all, that four year-old is obviously the reason for TSA to exist. Who knows, she may have already taken flight lessons and didn't care to learn how to land.

One day soon, al quaida will invent animated plastic explosive that walks and looks like a little kid.

Then we will all be glad the TSA is so diligent.

Because you say so? Hardly. Sarcasm is as good a way as any to condemn what happened to the little girl. Please dismount your high horse.

Sad times make for sad decisions. It's not as if a terrorist would draw the line at planting explosives on a four year old. After all, any explosion is going to kill all aboard regardless of age.

It's not as if people don't know the pat down policy exists either. Personally, I think I could prepared the child ahead of time and talked a four year old child or grandchild thru it without the drama.

Grandma and the kid should travel more. Knowing there are TSA personnel doing their job. Ignorant Grandma should tell her grand child in advance about a possible search. Educate yourselves people!

The 4 yr old was a clever distraction for the 28 yr old Saudi disguised as a 70 yr old grouchy, grumpy gramma.
If they riflebutt the kid, the whole scam goes south...
