I wrote this .. earlier-
thought it would fit snugly here too..

blond very curly hair, his big blue eyes were always inquisitive and expressive..
He cried once, because someone took him for 'a girl' which
was a blow to his very young pride, tho' I could clearly see that it was,
really because he was lovely as a girl.

He neither spoke nor walked until he was about 18 months!
but, later I found there was nothing wrong with him; he just was too busy absorbing every aspect of this new life !
he had no time for talking or walking; all that came later!

As he grew we developed a great bond between us; he was always very much his own person and never 'went' with the
crowd..

When young .. I was always 'there' for him .. ALWAYS,
it was never a burden,as, it was 'where' I wanted to be..

Now the world has turned, time has passed.. and changed ..
roles reversed!

He now 'minds' me like piece of china, as I once 'minded' him.

I am older, that's for sure!!!!

and he has grown to be a fully independent man..
I know I am biased and perhaps a little blinded by the maternal instinct..
but ... but I can safely say
anyone would be proud to have him as a son, friend, relative.

He is one of my 'rocks' and if ever I am worried or weighed down,
by any of life's problems, which affect us all ..
HE will talk with me for hours on end, and has a sharp thinking mind with the insight and wisdom
of a top psychologist ...

He grew too with a musical gift and can turn any set of notes into something unique ..

He is my second son -

one I love more than I could ever express in words..
but... in my heart...I felt..

I wanted to say THIS MUCH ... about him
today..

on his birthday
