We are promised freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion. OoOoOoOo that was a damn good point, no one has ever put it that way.

An atheist shouldn't be forced to study any particular religion, therefore he/she would freedom FROM religion. If you choose not to partake of any religion, in America that is your right.

I meant to say leave the other religions alone. This is basically a christian issue in a christian land, don't bring the Koran into the picture. Comprendo?

Just read about this guy and the latest news that he's been accused of some yet-to-be-specified "inappropriate" behavior. When I read that he also had asked a black student if her name came from her 3 daddies (and admitted he had said this)... I was shocked that such a blatant, horrible racist would be allowed to return to teaching. Why is this man still teaching? Does he hide well under the guise of being religious? Seems so.

The "three daddies" he was referring to were of course; the father, the son and the holy ghost! Have a potato.

"no atheists in foxholes" - I hear that often from religious fanatics. Just where do you get this? Where is you proof? Ever been in a foxhole? Or is just another fairy tale?

I had a really foxy girlfriend once, and I was in her foxhole on several occasions. I never did ask her if she was an atheist. I didn't even care. Have a potato.
