The far western Kentucky counties that are along the Mississippi had 3" of snow this morning. Snowed like gang busters in Henderson this afternoon. Rain/snow mix off and on in Owensboro today. More expected tonight,no accumulation expected.

I didn't notice. I don't spend 15 hours a day posting on topix... LOL It was working fine early this morning. Maybe Opis or Rotor broke it. You know how THEY are with their toys..... Them boyz could break a cast iron horse.

Oh, man, I really messed myself up. I have this sciatic nerve thing pops up on me once in a while splitting wood or shoveling snow and it just ruins my day. Since about 11 this morning I've felt like I had the tip of a glass spear broken off in my hip joint, and the pain shoots down my leg and up around my hip to the base of my coccyx and man, women oughtta be glad they haven't got a coccyx because when that puppy hurts it really cripples you. The only position I'm comfortable in is on my knees on the floor but the damn cat must sense my vulnerability or I look pretty sexy to him that way so I don;t stay down there too long. I can't sleep because each way I turn hurts more than the last, I'm loaded up on ibuprofen and aspirin because I don't do anything stronger and you know I don't drink, but it hurts enough that I just polished off a half a bottle of wild turkey 101, nothing to wash it down with. I don't drink but I used to years ago and my body apparently remembers that cause I slammed it down like pop and it dulled the pain a little but here I am, can't lay down, can't sleep, almost out of liquor, in agony and too chickenshit to commit suicide, lol, so I just thought I'd stop by and say hi. Drunk as hell but I still spell better than a troll. Or is it smell better? Or both? How are you?

Maria keeps getting mad at me because I keep getting up to do stuff and she says, "Let me be your legs," but if she's MY legs than what the hell is SHE supposed to do for legs, I think about this stuff, you know? I'm really grateful to have her helping me out, but I get up to do something and she says, "Why didn't you let me get that for you?" and I say "I didn't know I wanted it at the time, I might have just grabbed it while I was wandering around.." but she gets upset at me anyway..:(

Didn't miss much... Topix was upgrading their servers or something and replies/comments weren't getting posted. SOME people freaked and had withdrawl symptoms.. The REST of us took it in stride and soldiered on.
