On the other hand, the prostitute says the cleaner is stupid, to be working such long exhausting hours when she could be a prostitute and bring in very good money.. thus freeing up more time for her children.. and
that it's just a job like any other..

If they can stay drug, disease, and pimp free, I have no problem with prostitution, exotic dancers, escort services. I've known a few girls working their way through college, single moms w/ deadbeat dads, you do what you have to do. Were it regulated so it could be taxed, we'd have surplus in the national budget.

If a woman has a nice body she can become an exotic dancer. The hours are late night after the little ones go to bed, she doesn't have to work over 4 hours a night and the money is excellent. Some nights she would clear over a grand..she was working while the kids slept and they got up about the time she did and went home..

Prostitution is an easy out for those who WONT get a job and earn an honesat living. Prostitution is fast money, no work involved, just own a watch and check it when his 3 minutes are up. No taxes to pay. No dishes to wash. Most prostitutes feed a drug habbit and they can get the money faster. They make their own hours like AVON, they dont have to punch a time clock at some jobs and they always use the excuse that they have kids and so they cant get a real job. But while some honest jobs come with perks, the prostitutes job comes with lots of arrests, AIDS, NO health insurance, and lots of pennicillian. Also the risk of being beaten up or murdered.I would rather do an honest days work and keep my respect then suck a man's picolo for money.

Vee, that's certainly 'shooting straight from the hip' or calling it as it is, what you said makes great sense [v good posts from M04 and Opis too]

I personally think it is an unsavory lifestyle ..
Without standing in judgment, I to think ANY other job would be better,even if the hours were
longer.. as you are lowering your self-esteem,let face it,what it's about,
basically, is > having sex with every TOM>>DICK>>and HARRY who happens along..

I would be slow to put it in the 'normal job' category..
Of course, same goes for male prostitution..

and self esteem ! I definitly agree ! I've received offers to help my "end of the month", rather wash dishes !

Because if they didn't, there would be awkward silences, hemming and hawing, and downright dull conversations.

Me personally, I like to flirt with my female friends in the RW. It's harmless, it's fun and makes the conversation go off into different tangents (all of them clean). Helps spice up a rather dull work day.

As to MO4's question of why conversations lead to sex, politics, and religion, I think that's because each subject is easily and passionately embraced by all. Each contains controversial opinions as well. There's probably some kind of pyschological term for this. Controversy is ultimately exciting anyway, so maybe that's why people gravitate to it?

Excellent! The conversation truns to sex because everyone knows how to do that, at least! I see now..hahaha

At present there's a controversial case on here, regarding a wealthy man who went to a foreign country, where he has
been very charitable towards underprivileged folks there for quite a while
giving of his time and money, young boys were amongst those he helped a lot, there;
but of late it has been revealed that he has had sex with some of the boys..
who came to his rooms..
He claims that no law was broken, as in that country, the 'age of consent' is 16 ..
for these boys to indulge is such activities, but in OUR country, sexual relations with 16's or under
is against the law; now it is up for grabs..> wondering IF he can be prosecuted,
he, being from our country, he would not be allowed to practice these actions HERE..
but does that give him a right to do so in another country ..

I think in the whole story, his actions is shabby, and it could be seen that he was
taking advantage, of vulnerable and very inexperienced individuals.
