After living several years in West Germany and drinking some of the finest brew in the world, I came home only to discover that when I went to a party, I had to be sure to bring a case just for myself. Because that's how much American beer I could drink and still walk, talk and DRIVE. The crap went through me like water. I rarely drink any beer these days but when I do, it is either Rooster Tail Ale (and exceptional, regional microbrew) or Negra Medelo, a superb dark from Mexico. Oh, and just sign me, "Patriotic Guy from the Mountains of Oregon". Grin.

If it were Oprah she would have died and the train would have derailed.

Several years ago, I drank quite a bit of Miller Lite one afternoon and just a few hours after that got pulled over and given the breathalyzer....passed the test with no prob. I even told the cop "yeah I've been drinking half the day, so WTF give me that breathalyzer, like I f'ing care..." I don't even think I got the slightest buzz of it. I think it's just beer flavor, food coloring and water...LOL And no, I don't drink and drive now. I was young then and stupid eh

And no, I don't drink and drive now. I was young then and stupid eh Likewise. I can't believe the risks I took back then. Got pulled over twioe for drinking and driving once at 16 and again about 10 years later but never a ticket. But more importantly, never hurt anyone. Got lucky.

Glad to have left all that liquid stupid behind. Worst stunt I ever pulled,.. stood up on my motorcycle at 50 mile an hour and pulled the "look mom, no hands" gag showing off to friends. Would have crashed burned if sober, but when I got sober, I swore no more drinking and driving anything.

"Naturally wired",.. I remember how wild a snowmobile ride is. Lived in Minn. one winter. Those things are crazy. The temptation to go wild is too great, like mixin' dirt bikin' with street stunts. I'll take the safer motorcycle any day. lol

We all do something stupid in our lives. As long as no one was hurt. That's the most important thing.
