He explained his side of the story and the tantrum she threw, and he went in the other room and came back with a suitcase with some of the rest of the daughter's clothes. When the social worker asked what that was for, he told her that if he couldn't raise his daughter as he saw fit and make her behave, she could take her. That shut the social worker up, and she left. About a week or so later he got a letter from DSS/CPS. Guess what it said? It was a personal letter from the social worker saying that he was probably one of the best fathers she had ever met.

If there is a bright spot for Jordan's daughter, it appears she has at least one job offer from an ice cream shop in the town of Stanley. The offer was posted on YouTube Friday after Jordan's video went viral.

Just what I was thinking and it reminds me of something....Years ago I knew someone who got mad at her husband and went to the driveway and slashed the tires on his car.....since they were married, that is money out of her pocket too. People can do some pretty trashy things that are wasteful and cost money.

Of course, if he has a violent stripe, then it is better that he shot the laptop than a living creature. In the old days, the father might would have given her a beating she would have never forgot, then kicked the dog, and then went out shooting at deer, birds, or squirrels to vent.

I just agree with you. I believe he missed an opportunity to teach a real lesson. If he was set on getting rid of the laptop, he could have had her give it to a needy family, an abuse shelter, or something of the like. He could of even had het volunteer at a homeless shelter.
