I remember the pictures of her just starting out, she had such a happy face! She glowed and all around her saw it. She was so talented also. Then to see the descent into drugs, sad. Fame is a bitch, don't let anyone deceive you it is not. People think its so desireable, they do not realize how these people have their privacy stripped away, expectations held high, jealously ALL the time, and back stabbing, the enevitable trouble keeping real frineds and relationships because of this. Horrible. Celebrities get incredibly lonely and if they do not have the personal fortitude to endure this, they turn to drugs. Well said. I totally agree.

DJZ wrote: <quoted text>For the people who redicule her, I agree with you. As for everyone eles who feels differently, You can not deny That Whitney Houston's demise is of her own doing. I do not follow celebrity news much myself, but I watch enough news to know that there is an epidemic of failing celebrities: Britney Spears, Heath Ledger, Mel Gibson, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Amy Winehoues, and now Whitney Houston, and whoever I did not mention. These fools have either ruined their public image, or foolishly taken their own life. They abuse their fame and fortune and yet we some of us still give them praise when they do not deserve it. At a time, I really liked these people I really did, but now I see celebrities as a waste of time, and that is why I do not keep up with them in news. Maybe I should, just to see what other form of stupidity will come the so called 'Red Carpet'. You are refusing to see, that Celebrities, what so many people want to be. I live near Hollywood, let me tell you, tons do!!! Celebrities don't have the easy life you envision. All this ripping her apart is proof in itself, and this is not the half of it. Compassion is needed to understand that their deaths like Whitney's, are tragic.

Compassion is needed to understand that their deaths like Whitney's, are tragic. I had already come to the realization that celebrities have a busy life, other than working on film sets and recording studios. A shame all the negatives you mentioned are involved as well. At least some actually devote their time to actually helping people. Like Oprah building schools for children in Africa. I cannot remember where, but Brad Pitt helped somewhere in the world. Like I said I do not keep up with celebrity news, but I might.

Well know we know the rest of the story. As love had everything to with it. Drugs and it's abuse really makes me mad. Like the crazy eyed snake in Jungle Book, the movie. Drugs swirling in the eyes of the beholder as though to say, "trust in me". Or, like the pills in Wonderland. Taller, smaller, they still kill. Sad when not even fame can bring joy. Nor such beauty, nor understanding and strength of self. Love can take all and more if mistreated, and indeed B. Brown mistreated it. He has blood on his heart. Such the dark spot. Whiney may be gone, but her voice and beauty will live on forever within generations to come.

The business is hell. The demons that run it are very protective of their dominion. And when all else fells, they eat them.(the demon's dominion) Hollywood, land of lost souls.
