I once asked a friend, who was attending anger management classes, how the class was working out for her. She replied, "Well, they managed to piss me off!".

Didn't get why she was in the anger management class.
On her own?
Or ordered from some previous altercation?

Got that what she did was reprehensible, and really bad and all.
And it's obvious she has a major problem.
If attending that class (IF!) was her idea, then at least that's some kind of self-acknowledgement that she has a serious problem.

What she needs is more intense therapy, and until she can be relied upon to be stable, she needs separation from her kid(s).
But, guess what I'm saying is she needs help more than she needs jail time.
There's gotta be some kind of program out there which helps folks with her volatility.
If not, wherever she goes (including jail) someone will be in danger.

Did she go to anger management on her own? Or was she forced to attend by court order? Whatever, she must be a hard case. Hope she loses custody before she seriously harms or even kills the kid.
