We now have an environmental movement that ignores the environment! that tells us the earth has a fever while the world cools, and that the sun has little if any impact on our climate.
You better move a 1400 miles to New Zealand. That is one Ring to rule them all.

You trade on the cooling fact that the sun is at a lifetime extended low solar minimum, radiating at 2 parts per 1000 below normal for the last 2 years. However, the Pacific Northwest just had its longest lifetime warm period, 5.5 months, in which Seattle set its hottest day & morning recorded temperatures, Australia has had 2 summers of very hot & record hot day & morning temperatures, in the midst of extended 6 years of drought, & ocean waters have reached their warmest ever recorded temperatures. So you are right. With the sun cooling, major parts of the Earth are feverish.

She was a mythological fiction. It's a story, not an experimental demonstration of a theory.

Agree. Her and Kevin Rudd are doing their best to save the planet. Bob Brown doesn't know what he is talking about. If you really think green, their is only one team, the K-Rudd Team

Green is not a thought, it's an emotional feeling. Greens have difficulty distinguishing the two. It's why they are so confused, and usually so wrong

Here's an email message I exchanged with Professor Fred Singer:

S. Fred Singer to Tom, ken, me
show details Nov 5 (3 days ago)

The IR properties of CO2 are well known from lab measurements.
It is clearly a GH gas

But water vapor complicates the GH effect in a real atmosphere, because of unknown (and contested) feedbacks

Dr. S. Fred Singer,

I've been a climate mitigation skeptic, but I've recently found some
experimental data that's making me doubt my position. Are you
familiar with GREENHOUSE EFFECT IN THE CLASSROOM: A PROJECT- AND
LABORATORY-BASED CURRICULUM as it's posted at:

http://dcdc.asu.edu/K-12Education/greenhousel... , from Southern
Illinois University at Carbondale? Do you know if CO2's greenhouse
effect on temperature has been found in the lab? Would you please
direct me to any critical examination of experimental tests on the
greenhouse effect? Is this experiment apocryphal?

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request.

Very Respectfully,

For the first time in recorded history the last couple years it was clear sailing in the Northeast Passage. Good news if you're shipping something from Korea to Rotterdam. Not so good news if you're living in at sea level.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Scorpio

This is not the easiest day for concentrating on what needs to be done, whether tackling those Christmas cards and letters, writing out a list of jobs, or getting on with other urgent work. Mental activity seems to be blocked, as Mars is slowing and Mercury is under cosmic pressure. Take some time out for meditation, or reflection, and let your subconscious do the work.
