49 Middlesboro residents sue nine coal companies for flood damages

Full story: Lexington Herald-Leader

Mining near the city by several companies disrupted the natural drainage system, increasing the amount and speed of water that ran off mined areas during heavy rainfall, the lawsuit charges.

Coal Mining is not responsible for this flood!Boycott Middlesboro businesses and bell county if they allow this to happen.If Bell County does not support coal then take your money elsewhere!

i beat 90 percent of the people that sueing is on checks and thank if from what heard if it wasnt for the mines at welscamp catching most of the water middlesboro would be gone now washed away come on people get real and a dam job
