I totally agree, I love the holiday season. We have started putting up decorations we are decorating the christmas tree tonight after dinner. After all the bad news we hear everyday it makes me smile, my neighbors come out and smile and mingle. We have 3 boys so they are equally excited, I'm like a little child all over agin....I love Christmas...the holiday season brings families together.

It's too early. My kids would drive me buggy if we put ours up this early. We wait till after Thanksgiving and then make a big deal over it.

Really...they are just now noticing this. There have been people in my neighborhood with decorations up before Halloween. I am already over seeing and hearing about it and I am not normally like that until the middle of December. It is just a pathetic attempt to get people to spend money that they do not have! Let's just get through one holiday at a time!

I can't afford decorations this year. I can barely afford any presents. It's going to be a rough Christmas for a lot of people.

I typically get my tree and lights up by Thanksgiving so that once Thanksgiving is over, I can have things lit for the maximum number of days for the holidays. I know I sound like Clark Griswold. I do nickname my tree the Clark Griswold tree with 900 lights on a 6-foot tree.

We were very poor when I was a kid and we couldn't afford a Christmas tree so my mom bought a string of multi colored lights and decorated our fern. I remember my best friend coming over and just staring at it for about 2 straight minutes before asking "Is that a fern?". To this day I can't see a fern without thinking about it. Freakin hilarious!

Will be the non-politically correct responder-It is not he holidays! It is the Holy days- can not minimilize muslim, hindu, african, jewish,(ect)tradtions?! Reaaly an d where is it in writing anywhere that it is o.k to nationally trample my religion! Win a suit over spilling hot coffee on yourself! Christians should be fat and happy! And another thought -maybe other religions do not decorate their holy days because of capitalism! How much does Hallmark make off of other religions. Not so much a heads up for Haallmark-more for those who still hold christain holidays as sacried.

Daily Horoscope for November 21

Capricorn

Some of you may wonder where your money's going as the Moon meets Neptune in your second house of personal finances; your money seems to be spent as fast as you can make it. Before you go blaming everyone else, do a prosperity dance. Get all the junk you don't use any more out of your house and donate it to charity, then dance naked under the stars. You'll soon find you have all the money you need.
