This country is in much better hands now that Barack Obama is President of the United States; there won’t be ineptitude and callousness in a response to a natural disaster the way George Bush handled the Katrina aftermath. We voted in real leadership last November… Thank God.

How about the ice storm 2009 response!? As I remember...the response was NOT impressive...Thousands of people in states such as Kentucky were freezing for WEEKS!!

Just when we thought it was going to be a charmed year with no hurricanes hitting Florida or any other state for that matter. Here's hoping it loses strength before making landfall.

I hope the dam doesn't break. Lord knows the inept, inexperienced, unprepared, Muslim President won't know what to do. He'll probably pass out rain caps, and cigarettes. Don't forget the cigarettes.

The only thing I have seen from Obama is a lots of jokes nothing you can take serious. Glad I known a little about hurricanes and tropical storms. There is nothing to worry about this storm in Florida.

Yup, worst it'll do is kick up a few tornadoes.

YOU voted him in.

Those trillions in new hellth care? They're YOURS. At least until YOUR government goes bankrupt. Then serfs like you can work for free to pay off their debt.

Hope you enjoy it.

I doubt that you have ever seen a Marine.
If you really did join, you were obviously thrown out for being a Marxist stooge.
You are NO MARINE.

"Practice. Years and years of practice."

Naw. Just admit it, you're a born sociopath. It's in your genes, you get it from your Mom and Dad. Don't be modest, it's obvious you are a natural.
Bet you have a lot of gay men on ice in your fridge, don't you? Nothing a Conservaturd likes better than eating his male sex partner to cover up the evidence.

Why do you assume every a@@hole is gay? Are all gays A@@holes? And I only became an a@@hole after years and years of telemarketers. The government finally started the Do Not Call list, but by then it was too late. And you know deep down inside that you want New Orleans to drown again too. Admit it.

Well, in a way, you are right.
New Orleans is the last place I want a hurricane to hit.
If it did, we would have another 5 years of crybaby darkies
crying for more cruise ships to live on.

At least on the Alabama, Mississippi and Florida gulf coast, the people pick up whats left and move on with their lives.

Those are the true Christians that wish harm just to prove a point.

It's not rude, you are to kind. This is utterly hateful.

The media is making a big deal of the only hurricane this year ... and it is predicted to hit land as a tropical storm. Doesn't look like it will do a lot of damage ... It depends on how quickly it moves through so it doesn't cause flooding.

Of course they are, they can blame it on Globull Warming!!

Conditions aren't ripe for a storm. It will fizzle out and be a rainmaker, mostly.
