Teenage drivers, the 16 and 17 age drivers.

The best solution is from this point on should NOT be allowed to have a license unless their grades are at least a "B" average.

I watch the news everyday and it's always great and i feel like everyone there is part of my family in away because i watch you guys every day and night. The Morning Anchors id great to watch beacuse they always put a smile on my face or make me laugh in a way.

frank, im in my late 20's now and have a cdl license. i was also a c student my whole life. ive never been in an accident and use good judgement always when i drive. some kids really try hard and can only maintain a c average. that would not be fair to the hard workings C students

I disagree. Even the worst drivers can have the best grades. GPA and test scores do not have to do with driving skills.

Additionally, there are different levels of education in various school systems. You must also take into consideration different expectations (as in private school vs. public. This type of "nothing under a B" rule may cause problems concerning discrimination against those with learning disabilities, too. In my opinion, if something were to be established such as that, it will only cause more problems than exist.

The state's goal is to save the lives of teenage drivers, however, the government basing privileges off of grades will not help accomplish such a respectable feat. That is solely the parent's job.

Having good academic grades does not necessarily mean that a teenage, or anyone for that matter, will be a good driver. My twin sister had vastly superior grades in high school than I did, and she totaled her car. I'm still on my first one.

Your weather forecasts are great. A large segment of viewers are probably boaters. I (and they) would probably appreciate some more emphasis on marine, LI Sound conditions.
