Marin Voice: Saving coho takes tough action

A 35 foot setback from a seasonal creek that prevents any new construction on undeveloped property a mile from where salmon actually spawn is unreasonable,unfair and most certainly a "taking' of private property.It must be compensated by the takers and this county cannot afford this type of feel good expense when it cannot keep libraries or -soon- hospitals open.

Jeff is just repeting the same old story by the SPAWN group which appears to be Lets get in everyone's business so we can say YEAH Look at us and get grant monies You can write this hog wash over and over as many times as you want and spout off its FEAR MONGERING which it is not. The main Idiot for SPAWN said it himself after a mild winter spritzing that the Salmon have returned to Samual P Taylor and announced it publicly. The fish need waster to come up There is more scientific proof for the fish in Drought issues than there is by all this phoney study that goes on with these self proclaimed agencies. Fish need water There is NO other way. The dam at Kent Lake lets out exactly what is need under state and federal guidelins as well as many other dams. Todd Steiner himself raked up 100 grand to fix the small damn at the golf course because he wants to be the LOCAL HERO. This fish ladder was implimented long before he and his grant money stooges came to Marin. We the People of the SGV dont need their help and neither do the Coho Salmon. What they need is WATER! Try raising your gold fish in an empty bowl see what happenes Meanwhile you fools whom think your doing some of the earth a favor are just doing bad and should be in Jail for your false reports and trespassing Its not only here that you do it either. It seems to me you are willing to break the law in any country So why are GRANT monies of the tax payers being giving to criminal lawbreakers?
