We wouldn’t even be having this debate of global warming’s validity if we were actually experiencing the climate crisis itself, flooding, drought, starvation and death
So AGW is invalid except during Hurricane Katrina, the Sahel drought, etc? That is just silly. There have always been drought, floods, starvation, etc. The forecasts of the IPCC are for the DEGREE of such events.

The IPCC made no 'predictions'. Forecasts based on particular future directions.

That would terrible for the Chinese people, too. From 1949 to ~1970, the Chinese communists set the world record for massacres, murdering as many as 100 million Chinese citizens throughout China.

So, warming on Mars,
There is no 'global warming' data for Mars. One instrument came back with results that they couldn't explain ( do they ever?) and they said it might IMPLY a global warming trend. But of course, the 'warm/cool cycles' of Mars are dominated by the eccentricity of the orbit.
RUSH IS RIGHT wrote:

the MWP, and the little ice age are/were caused by what?
The MWP and LIA were named and documented in Western Europe. No similar change, synchronous over the world is known and it could not happen since there is no energy input to provide the extra potential energy of a warmer climate globally.

So in terms of 'caused' the most likely scenario is a ( only slighly changes needed) deflection of the warming winds that bring a balmier climate from the south and west ( After being deflected by the Rockies southward by coriolis forces).

Try to avoid using childish and sophomoric babble, as in your previous post.
Your babble and your previous posts are not at issue. Also, you should stop talking about yourself in the third person.

Look, if man's CO2 changes climate then a million years of man and fire and CO2 have already mitigated against an ice age. I like CO2, I want to see 500ppm by 2050, just for luck.

The point, which you've proven so well, is that right-wing whack-jobs are much more interested in sitting on their asses and sending OTHERS out to die than trying to keep people safe and trying to keep the violence inside of a box which can be turned off...
Funny part is the majority of the military are conseritives and they are the ones who are doing the dying while liberals answer to any problem is to protest and have the goverment run it.

Of course, people like yourself never let facts interfere do they.

Oh, yes, because the military are just mindless drones who do and think whatever they're told?

Wow, it becomes more and more obvious that the closest you've ever been to an actual member of the military was when you rented "Black Hawk Down"...

Totalitarianism,

The typical response of the left is to engage in personal attacks when they run out of arguments. What I find the most appalling is their intellectual arrogance. They believe they are so educated that any person who doesn't share their point of view is dumb as a box of rocks. It reminds me of the old Soviet Union. Complain or criticize Communism.....off to a mental institution you would go. After all, only the insane would have a problem with such an enlightened system.

LessHypeMoreFact,

Only 37 million people were killed? Well......I guess that makes that makes the revolution perfectly acceptable! Mao was a nice guy after all. Thanks for clearing that up. You know us right wingers aren't too bright. That's why we depend on left wingers to tell us what's right and wrong as well as what's good for us. Our only purpose is to work and cough up money to an enlightened administration to spend as they see fit. Once again....thanks for setting the record straight.

Can't read simple english eh?

Billions is a term that is a thousand times larger than million so I am certainly not trying to minimize the issue. I strongly agree that 37 billion people is too much for any revolution, civil war, or other insurrection no matter how strongly supported by those remaining.

I understand that those killed had to pay for the bullet. This should please the right wingers who often complain that 'the commies' don't understand economics.

Is President Obama to blame for cold feet in Copenhagen?
11/17/2009 Opinion
Obama Has Failed the World on Climate Change
By Christian Schwägerl

US President Barack Obama came to office promising hope and change. But on climate change, he has followed in the footsteps of his predecessor George W. Bush. Now, should the climate summit in Copenhagen fail, the blame will lie squarely with Obama...

When 90% of the world's expert scientists and ALL of its major scientific bodies tell us we have a serious environmental problem, we should ignore them and jump to our own uninformed conclusions? Based upon what the largest polluters are telling us to think?

That's arrogance alright.

NO CAP AND TRADE

The House of Representatives rammed through the mind blowing 1500 page American Clean Energy Security Act of 2009 (H.R. 2454) on June 26th, 2009. The last 300 pages had just been written the night before. No one had seen it. There wasn't even a copy on the floor of the House. Yet, it is the most expensive, intrusive, job destroying, economically damaging bill ever considered in the history of the US. The US Senate is now considering it as the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act, S 1733. This is one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation ever considered by Congress. Watch a short 3-4 minute video and read an article in Range Magazine to find out just how dangerous this bill is. Then call your Senator and tell him or her not to vote for this bill.
