New study ties global warming to recent year heat

Full story: Connecticut Post

In this Aug. 19, 2003 file photo, the Ibardin lake, which provides drinking water to the southern French cities of Hendaye, Biriatu and Urrugne, is almost dry due to the recent heat wave, near the French-Spanish border.

Bingo...

"In a blunt departure from most climate research, Hansen's study - based on statistics, not the more typical climate modeling - blames these three heat waves purely on global warming:

Last year's devastating Texas-Oklahoma drought.

The 2010 heat waves in Russia and the Middle East, which led to thousands of deaths.

The 2003 European heat wave blamed for tens of thousands of deaths, especially among the elderly in France.

The analysis was written before the current drought and record-breaking temperatures that have seared much of the United States this year. But Hansen believes this too is another prime example of global warming at its worst."

While recent past & present topix AGW denier echos of uneducated chants, still tote ideas of imminent coming ice ages & general Earth temperature drops like centuries past, AGW deniers weakly deny Earth's burning temperatures as business as usual.

However,'steenking piddling diddling middling mudling mudslinger dirtling', in efforts to bring his personna in-line with his slimy steenking filthy vile reprobate rooting(& rotting) racist pukey proud pigisms, has decided to up-grade his photo gallery. He considers that he has succeeded & is proud of his efforts:

Hansen also believes that five meters of sea level rise is possible by 2100. He has no credibility.

True, but he's perfect for alarmists and doomers who don't want to know the meaning of the word scepticism.

Recent studies on the PETM show that Antarctica may eventually become tropical. The point that Hansen made about exponential increase (that it could, mathematically, reach 5 meters by 2100 if driven by the current OBSERVATION of a 'doubling time' every ten years or less) is perfectly valid for what it said. It did not PROPHECY a 5 meters sea rise. It was a rebuttal to the 'linear model' of sea level rise.

Scientists understand what they are talking about. You obviously don't. And Hansen's credibility within climate science is very high.

No credibility at all. He's merely the world's foremost and most experienced climate researcher, running the world's leading climate research facility.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
