20 bucks says that he'll still give himself a B grade for October because of his desclaimer. HA! What a joke. Please just worry about the three day forecast and TRY to just get that right.

Dave you were on the money all Spring and Summer. I would comment to people when discussing weather that I had watched your forcast and so far you were right. And I had expected you to be right all summer long. No one believed it but it was true. An unusual summer or lack of a summer!!! As for the fall, When I read your October month I was thrilled to have a beautiful, dry October. Hoping to be like last year!!! Not the case at all.. We win some, we lose some. And this time it was a horrific loss. Well no matter what, I will continue to read/watch your forecasts. I know winter is hard to predict when it comes to snow. But I believe you can get back on top and nail this one again.. Thanks Dave for all your wonderful insight you give us beyond the weekly weather. I have learned alot from watching your specials.

If October was so "off" on the forecast. Does that change the predicition of November? Is there an update to follow? I am truly curious to know, since in here it describes "the first half of the month will be dry w/ what we saw in Sept/Oct."

Well Other than october, your forecast was pretty close to what you expected. I look forward to seeing what your ideas are for the winter months.

The main points for October 2009: REALLY??????
*Limited temperature swings. One or two cool snaps, especially toward the end of the month. Overall, mild to warm days and pleasant nights * The month will end up with above average temperatures. Maybe well above average *Rainfall will be lacking. October is a dry month. A little drier than a typical October. We have to watch the tropics, especially the Gulf of Mexico. But still expecting this to be a quiet season. |

"Now we have to remember that October typically is a dry month anyway and this year it will live up to its billing. Nothing extreme, but rainfall will be running below normal for the entire month." Dave Murray
Good Job...its been an almost record setting wet October, exact opposite of what you predicted. haha |

Ohhh I hope we get dumped with snow! Dave is usually pretty accurate with this forecasts. I enjoy watching him over the stuffies on Ch5. It will be interesting to see what he settles on because one prediction is a very mild winter but the "animals" and all are predicting a very harsh winter...we shall see a 50/50 shot.

Wish I could be wrong as much as Dave at my job~ |

|
forecasters can't even predict 3 days in advance...especially in st. louis!!!
