Dave Murray's Fall 2009 Forecast For St. Louis - KTVI

I can't wait until the winter forecast comes out in November.

hey dave, I love your forecast, however my husband deer hunts and he wants to see more cold weather the first part of november! Can you help him with this?

Dave...Dave...Dave...your way off man. The woolly worm's are black at the head and tail....and lite brown in the middle. This mean's we will be hit hard in november...then it will moderate...and hit hard again until late March. You better rethink it Dave....before you end up with egg on your face.

Mary..if it get's to cold...your hubby will only complain about being to cold...lol.

will we have a mild winter or its more to winter we exspect?

is winter going to be hard or not?or is it gong to come early?

I am a big Dave fan, I find him to be the least hyperbolic forecaster in town by far, and the only one who seems to understand that "average" and "normal" are not synonyms, but he sure was off on his October forecast. I hear he is dropping hints of a very bad winter forecast, and no offense to Dave, I hope he's as off about that as he was October. Either way, I'll keep watching Dave.

Yes he did hint toward's a bad winter...I personally think he will be way off on that too !!!

The best thing Dave does for me is tell me the wind direcion...the fish bite the least when outta the east...bite the best when outta the west !!! Thank's Dave...Keep up the good work.

Yes I agree, Dave is WAY WAY off about October. And I quote him: "Rainfall will be lacking. October is a dry month. A little drier than a typical October."

Well Dave your Fall Forcast has turned out to be a dismal disaster atleast when you consider the months of Sept. and Oct. I hope your Winter forcast for STL is atleast a little better!!

Dave, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that since all these radars have come in to play (radar this and radar that) and all the predictors (predictors this and preditors that) the forecast for STL on channels 2,4,5 have all been off more now than ever....what da ya think? You know with the sports scene here in STL in the tank and of course everyone is so tired of seeing the same old news out of North STL and the East side and now the weather forecast so far off...I don't see to many reason to watch the local news on any of the local networks!!

Wow Dave, you really hit the month of October well. It has been real warm and dry. Great job!

I hope we have a winter like the winter of 1982 I think that was the year. What happened to the snow and ice we used to have as kids? Give me some of that please. Let's not go to work and go play!!!!

you really missed the prec forecast for Oct!! Do you think this is a lasting pattern that will run into our winter months,if it does with shots of Arctic air that could result in some wicked winter weather. What do think??
