They messed up her life long enough with no proof. Maybe now she can move on in peace.

There was no proof that she even did this. People should just leave her alone and let her move on with her lose.

I have knew Traci and Scott for several years, we went to nursing school together and worked evenings at the same place. They were truley in love. Trace was one of the most caring persons in our class. There is no way she could have ever killed Scott. She adored him and his children.

I'm not convinced. The State made a big deal about the pattern on the carpet made(they said), by the holster and the gun. There were lots of feathers on the gun, where are they on the carpet? Was there soaked blood on the freathers on the gun? Did anyone test the holster and gun for fine blood spatter cause by blood dripping off the bed or if blood pooling in that way would not run under objects on the carpet? I hope Taci's team gets some good blood pattern experts for the next trial. Good luck Traci, I think you're inocent.

I just watched this one sided program and am appalled! I knew she was in trouble when I heard this occurred in Texas. Texas is the most sexist state in the US. This poor woman kept the same story througout the whole process. She obviously loved him even though he had issues. There was reasonable doubt all over this case. The jury sets her free cause they feel bad for the kids, but give her a curfew that prevents her from seeing them in anything they do.....makes no sense. It makes me sick that they revoked her nursing license too. I wish her and her boys the best and when her 10 yrs are up I hope she gets the hell out of that state!

Why has the prosecutor not been charged with tampering with evidence? Why was the Texas Ranger not prosecuted with giving false testimony? The photo graphs on CBS cleary show that the evidence was tampered with and that there is no evidence against Traci Rhode! I hope that some of you who judge Traci Rhode get the same district attorney and texas ranger who railroaded this girl. The testimony is to provide EVIDENCE against the person accused, this cleared her of all wrong doing and again shows how the "creative thinking" of prosecutors can twist everything around to fit their needs. Walk a mile in her shoes, and let the first one without guilt cast the first stone! Dave

I'm not from Texas and this is the first I heard of this case, but I believe she's guilty as sin. Remember, there were 12 people on that jury who believed Traci killed her husband. The defense expert who testified on her behalf had to have been discredited by the prosecutor. The bullet trajectory was also inconsistent with a suicide. Add in the affair, the meeting with the attorney the day before, and her mysertiously taking a shower (to wash away evidence is my bet), and it adds up to her being guilty.

Ok aren't we forgetting one big thing. Who was the gun registered to? Was it recentely purchased? Is that the type of guns that Scott and Traci had in their house? Why are there no reports on or about this? Why isn't this being discussed?

This is ridiculous. They may not have found the hard evidence against her but what more do you really need? There is plenty of motive here and why would he take his life just a day after bringing all of those things to light (divorce, taking the kids, etc)? I mean, why does anyone commit suicide would be the better question. But alot of them that do are ashamed and will not do it with people in the house. Let alone their sons that they love very much. Then she is in a hotel with the other guy a week and a half later? And who's to say this is the only time they met. She either killed him or let someone into the house when she "went for her walk" and got the job done. I feel sorry for the kids but they shouldn't continue to be raised by a murderer. She should go away and go away for a long time.

Who's gun is it? The question still remains??? Wouldn't that lead to a possible suspect???

i am woman i know when a woman is lying this one is lying to the very bones did they try to closely examine psychological and behavioural patterns theyll find something i am sure they say her story is consistent since the murder happened it is a consistent lie with plenty of "somewheres"'s and "beside"s an innocent woman would be tougher and more exact... still shes not a serial killer or anything her staying with the kids is a good thing i just hope she will deal with this case as long as she lives that is her best penalty keep writing about this guys!

I am a woman & I am sick of women in society in general. Professional women are my heroes, devoted mothers & housewives are my heroes, any woman who can take care of herself & not play the victim gains my respect, but I have none for Traci. I believe that she feels the need to play the victim & I believe based on the factual evidence that she is guilty, I also believe that the state dropped the ball in this case. She is too fake & too whiny to gain any empathy from me or anyone in my women's studies groups. Granted I don't know her & at the end of the day I an not important when it comes to Traci & her guilt or innocence, but I believe that she literally got away with murder. She was the topic of discussion in 2 of my groups, made up of well-educated, well-rounded & diverse individuals & not one of us who studied her case file believe she is innocent. EDIT: I am not an over-the-top feminist, but I am sick & tired of women like Traci adding to society's ideas & beliefs that women are weak & impulsive.

I just now watched the show about this case at the link below. I've been in law enforcement for 27 years. After a while if you pay close attention, avoid pride and tunnel vision, you can then tell a liar when you hear one. Traci is not lying. The truth comes spilling out. Liars have to stop and think what they are saying. When the Traci talks it spills out of her because she is not worried about being caught in a lie. She is telling the truth. I'm almost always for the prosecution but not this time boys. Sorry fella's, you had some southern texas tunnel vision this time. The good Lord will see you thru this Traci. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/...

People who think they know she is lying because "they are a woman and can tell" or "she should have some sort of typical behavior pattern" obviously do not know a damn thing about the human mind and behavior. I am a 4th yr psychology major, on my way to forensic psychology. Perhaps they should have had her evaluated by the right people, ie: people who actually know what they're doing, non - biased professional forensic psychologists. Anyone with any common sense and a non egotistical "gung ho" attitude can see that clearly this man either committed suicide, or was killed by someone other than Traci. THAT is clear to me. It is also clear to me that the police and prosecutors in this case simply wanted a conviction. Bottom line. Good luck Traci. You will need it to fight for your good name against all of these uneducated sobs.
