So, one kid kills another kid at an illegal open house party and somehow the police are at fault. The police are not PARENTS. Ipu be the parents and hopefully the police won't have to get involved. At any given time, the police are outnumbered on the street by about 5000 to 1. It's not the police, its not violence on TV, its parents not teaching their kids core values that prevent things like hatred, theft, killing, drugs and other less-than-savory activity. This incident is tragic on many levels but lets not put the blame on the brave men in blue and green. If you think you can do better, go to the academy and suit up, I'll see you on the street.
Couldn't have said it better myself! This woman needs to just accept what her son did and stop trying to throw the blame on other people because her parenting obviously sucked! If you read Adam's myspace he wrote before this even happened "I'd rather be judged by 12, then carried by 6" Well he got his wish and I hope that "12" finds him GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY!!! The mom wants to run her mouth about the other boys who were friends with Chandler supposably being a gang and posting it on there myspace, which is so not true because I know them, maybe she should have looked at the shit her own son writes on his! Like the racist remarks about "brown people stealin the white woman" or talking about drinking and smokin?? what mother in her right mind would let her 16 year old son be that way?? O thats right, one who didnt give a fuck about parenting until something like this happens! If she wants someone to blame for this stuff that has happened, she needs to look in the mirror and blame herself! Not the police, not other kids, not anything but her own parenting skills! Even her own son said in one of his posting that she was "mental case!" It's just rediculous she is doing everything in her power to blame anyone but herself!

Amen to that! The funeral was today and these so called friends in the little grp that call themselves "Power Rangers" threatened several people that if they showed up to the funeral they were taking them out. Oh is that was a group of friends do? Threats in this day and age can not be tolerated! There is too much violence and all parents should hold on tighter to their kids. Pull the reigns on them tighter so this doesn't happen to someone else. I can't wait until the trial and all the TRUTH comes out, maybe all this hate and threats will stop, once and for ALL!!
You are crazy!! You don't know shit and you need to stop making shit up! There is NO GANG CALLED POWER RANGAS!! Since when does a gang only have a few people? Gangs are large group of ppl who set out to do wrong, have weapons, break the law, ect! This is a small group of kids who played fucking xbox live!! It was there group name from xbox!!! get a grip on reality and stop trying to make up drama just to sound like a know it all!! seriously!! and if kids are goin home telling there parents they are being threatened by this so called gang, there parents should ask for proof cuz they are probably like you, just out for the attention!!

The Osceola County Sheriff's office and the St. Cloud PD have been given the names and even pictures of some of these gang members myspace pages advising them of death threats that they have been saying. The school principal and resource officer has also been given their names. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything done about it yet! In fact one of the gang members has been heard saying that he wants to get in trouble just to go to Juvenile Det. so he can get at Adam. I hope the cops at least have them under surveillance. What is up with their parents? Don't they know their kids are in gangs? Haven't they been told that there kids are going around threatening other kids and in fact an adult? I think the parents should be held accountable too for their kids actions maybe then they would parent these kids and keep them on the straight and narrow! What is this world coming to?
The parents do know what is going on! One of the kids got sent to live with his father in another state until people stop the he say/she say and another parent took it in his own hands to TAKE HIS son to the police station so he could let the police know what is ACTUALLY GOING ON and that there is no gang!!! The police know the truth and that is all that matter!! If you want to go there about the parents should be helf accountable, then yea I agree, maybe the Murderers mom should be held accountable for letting her 16 yr old son who was on probation and suppose to be under adult supervision be out at 1am at a party with underage drinking!! You are absoultely right, the PARENT SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!! I think thats the first smart thing you said!

No matter what parents do, its never good enough..... Who was adam with that night? where are those parents? When I was a kid growing up, I thought of my mom as a "mental case" also. Kids will be kids, and think how they want to, that has nothing to do with the parents. They can't change the way they think. And can u please keep ur disgusting and evil comments to yourself, that's how all this BS got started.

And also, why is all this wanting to be blamed on that mom, what the hell about the guy who had the house party, and the other parents who let their kids go to it? This could have been prevented by a show of parents, not just one! Two families lost a son here, be friggin respectful.....

I agree with alot being said here..It is the parents fault for letting their underage kids go to any party..It is also the man who had the party(Although the reports say he was sleepin).I can't understand how anyone who has that many kids in their house can sleep..I have 2 teenagers & can't sleep until they are..I think the word we are looking for here is probably "passed out", not sleeping. As far as any of the parents, the key word "party" should have deterred anyone from letting their kids, who goto high school, go there..Cuz if they are in high school they are obviously under 21, which means it is illegal for drinking.(And we all know by now that the only parties these days that these kids goto involves drinking).I agree with, concerned, in that parents need to unite against the teenage population..Back in the day kids didn't go anywhere or to other peoples houses until phone calls were made & parents agreed on what would be goin on at the houses..Why is that stopped..????Parents are wanting to be friends with their kids & are afraid of them.. Don't let the kids out without knowing exactly where they are goin, who they are gonna be with, & ya know, get into the car & go check up on them..It doesn't hurt to be nosey..True, they don't like it but they will thank you when they are adults & have kids of their own..The laws are not letting parents do what taught us right from wrong.. That is discipline....Come on parents, we are stronger than them,,IF WE UNITE!!!

Good, the parent is doing something to remove her kid from this situation to protect those that he has threatened. This kid who is out of town has a friend from the Crips on his myspace and you say he is not in a gang. Isn't or wasn't his brother in a gang? You talk like Chandler was completely innocent in this situation. Is it not also true that he was removed from school because of fighting. Isn't it also true that he also was involved in illegal activity like robbery just a few months back. Wasn't it also true that Chandler went to this party liquored up looking for a fight. Attacked someone from behind with a weapon and instigated this fight. YES to all of these!!

A "gang" is defined by law. Whether you like it or not, the Power Rangers meet that definition. If you don't like it, take it up with your legislators.

You are so right! We as parents should careless whether or not our children like us or get mad at us for asking. "Where are you going, who are you going with, what are you going to be doing, who is going to be there, there's no drugs, alcohol or illegal activity going to be going on and are their parents going to be there?" We must protect our kids as long as we can!! I rather know that I did everything I could to protect and teach my kids right from wrong, than to have something happen and then have any regrets!

I have a 19 yr old & a 16 yr old.. As long as they live in my house I will know what they are doing..I am asking all the parents of my kids friends to talk to me & unite to know what is going on..I even take turns with the parents to go for a ride & check up on their kids as well as mine..My kids are floored many times to find out that I actually know more than they think..They are always saying"Mom how do you know about that" I just hope that the real adults in this world can take it back over..As far as the law helping out..It comes down to alot of work on the parents part too. Don't be afraid to call & call & call if need be to the law enforcement & ask them to intervene in any situation.I have done this & have been told by many officers that they understand what I feel & can only do so much(true) but they are willing to help..I say parents,,LET'S TAKE BACK OUR STREETS!!!!!AND CONTROL OF OUR KIDS!!!!

I have one more thing to say..Actually it is anther situation of parents trying to be friends with their kids instead of parenting..Yesterday morning, the 18yr old neighbor boy was found in his driveway, near death, just laying there..( it is suspected that he laid there for at least 4 hrs.)he was rushed to the hospital w/ a fractured skull & was overdosed on alcohol & drugs.. I know from watching my neighborhood (as we all should) that his parents actually drink w/ him & have parties w/ him & his friends.. What the hell is the parents thinking..He has a small child too..I don't know the exact details of that situation, but I do know it's a true shame......The law has been over there may times, but they can't seem to catch them..I hate to say it but I believe the law enforcement is scared of teenagers these days too.. We need to work together w/ them & stop this insanity...Plz, before another young person dies.....At a senseless cause....We need to start up neighborhood watches & not be afraid to get involved in other peoples lives when it comes to breaking the law..If someone is breaking it Please report it again & again until the law enforcement does something.....

No, Chandler had no alcohol or drugs in his system and that is the truth! The autopsy proved it and NO chandler, DID NOT hit Adam from behind with a weapon!! Again, that is the shit someone made up to justify what Adam did. So like I have already said, if you can't state the facts or tell the truth don't say nothing! Cuz all your doin is starting rumors, which is why any of this stuff happened to begin with!

Ok well then you tell me why the cops have done absolutely NOTHING to this kids in the so called "gang"? As a matter of fact, the cops have told these boys, or atleast the ones I know, that they do not have anything to worry about!! There is no proof of them being in a gang except for people on this page trying to say so! But just because people say it, doesn't mean it is true!! Sooo maybe, you should, if you don't like them not classifying them as gang members, take it up with YOUR legislators!!!

You correctly stated it. IT IS NOT THE POLICE"S FAULT. I feel for both families and know many of these kids on both sides. Parents need to do a better job- and dont lay the blame on the law; stand firm and quit being friends. you are parents your kids are not supposed to like you all the time. Friends- be real friends. Those of you around these two who encouraged in voice or through silence did not present reasons for both to let it go; need to do better. Real friends dont lead friends down paths to potentially get hurt or in jail.

Finally instead of holding on and blame shifting take this experience for what it is and determine to be better parents and better friends. The choice of actions in this case were made by the two involved. Maybe now you will all grasp what the good teachers have been trying to get through that your individual choices can effect those around you. Chandlers' death is in vain if you choose to keep fighting for stupid reasons and refuse to mediate problems with meekness. Don't claim to love him and threaten or fight, you r in reality a liar.

You post that incorrectly spelled, improperly punctuated, poorly thought out, ill-informed, borderline illiterate crap, and have the nerve to call somebody else stupid? Amazing.

Power Rangers.....yeesh. There's a gang name to strike fear into the bravest of men, huh? Are they having a turf war with the Teletubbies? Did they maybe put out a hit on Yo Gabba Gabba? I hear the OG's from the Mickey Mouse Club are looking for them.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Scorpio

Take it slowly today otherwise you'll be almost guaranteed to lose your temper and make yourself very unpopular in the process. If someone is annoying you, you won't need any encouragement to start a row because you're looking for outlets for your current ire and irritation. OK, but do your best to direct your anger at the person who deserves it and not at innocent bystanders.
