The verdict is in and low and behold Kim Walker is a murderer. He did obviously get some sympathy as he got the charge reduced, but I personally I glad to see that he will finally pay some penalty for his actions. I hope the jerk off with the itchy trigger finger gets the max associated with 2nd degree murder. The justice system did not fail here it just followed the right steps to get to where we are and sometimes you need to be patient with the justice system. Kim walker should have tried more patience on March 17, 2003 and he might still have his life, his daughters life, and James might even have had his as well.

It should be noted Dave that the daughter does have her life and credits her father with saving it. She manages a store I believe and steered her life straight after the incident in which james was murdered.

Walker should also be charged with firearms violations as well, because people like him make legitimate and responsible gun owners look bad.

I've never heard of anyone being injected drugs while they slept, it doesn't even make sense from any way you look at it. Drug dealers may be seedy, but they aren't that stupid. They know how their product works and they know it costs money. Injecting morhpine into a sleeping person, at least on a regular basis, provides nothing to the user, endangers them even, and costs money. That kind of allegation stinks of fabrication. People are complaining they were having sex, oh dear, she's two years older than the age of consent, get over it, she loved the guy, she clutched him as he died. Now she's trying to get daddy off the hook by telling everyone how good he was to do that. Then again, she already knows first hand what happens to people that cross him (wink wink).

The other thing to note is we have all these ALLEGATIONS of heinous death-deserving acts by Hayward, which miraculously come from the side that has something to lose from a murder conviction. In fact, all the statements I came across from police never actually even say he dealt drugs, just that they knew he was involved with them in some way or another. The only descriptions of heinous acts I read are allegations from the Walker camp. Not a big surprise.

Many drug dealers had hot girlfriends because these girls liked drugs, the danger, the badboy image, and the money. These weren't church girls made of sugar and spice who were coerced into the lifestyle, they were already in the lifestyle and that's how they met. You simple-minded folk are a laugh. She hung out with the "wrong" crowd, but that was her choice.

To tony: If you can't control your temper and you will kill someone out of anger, you are a danger to society and should be locked up. Personally, I also think if you're too mentally unstable to control your impulses and end up killing someone, the application of justice should be the same.
