If sam shot himself why were no gunshot residue found on his hands? I know people who lost a child from suiucide and they didn't smile for over a year.Anne is awfully smily like her life is so perfect. Maybe her goal was to off her children to whore around like she always did, jumping from man to man. Just like the other mom's who drowned or kill their kids cause they are in the way for a new relationship. She has a new man again, can't seem to go without one.Puzzles me as to why she didn't put as much effort into mothering as she did in her bedroom.

NOT TRUE!
If you hold a gun like a western cowboy..yes its very hard to do that because your elbow cant come up but if you hold it sideways like a gangsta' then your elbow comes up and you can EASILY reach the back of your head. Which explains why its in the back of his head and downwards. Go ahead try it and then rethink your theory.
This is why i think David smart is an idiot..i am sure he has no clue how a GANGSTA' holds a gun.
Now if Sam wants to kill himself you think he is gonna do it cowboy style or gangsta' style.
If he doesnt want to see the gun go off he would hold it gangsta' style.
You didn't know anything about Sam, you piece of shit.

This trial has taken way to long to surface and whether or not she committed the crime, which lets face it, I think anyone close to this case thinks she did. Not only could Sam not have held the gun the way it was fired, he also could not have placed it on a desk and wiped it clean after the fact, this was not a suicide. Either Anne did it or she knows what actually happened, either way she needs to take responsibility and quit being the absolute coward we have all grown love and hate about her. I don't care if all Koop has is a gunshot angle, if that is enough to put her away for life then I hope to God that is outcome of this case. We are forgetting the true victim in this crime, it isn't the killer, it was Sam!
I know a lot of people in ER want this over with, but time will tell on this one. There may be some evidence that is being withheld from both sides that will clear the air. We want the truth. We've waited this long, so another few months won't make that much difference.

Your a real weirdo! How the hell do you know what Sam would do? Poor Sam didn't want to kill himself, so there. Mommy Dearest did, and I guess she was afraid that he would look her in the eyes and say, Why? The finger prints?DAH, only Anne could have and would have wanted those prints wiped clean, surely not Sammy.

Seriously kdippy? Did you miss the part where they recognize that friends stated Sam was suicidal and "Happy" the day it happened? Any Psychiatrist will tell you a suicidal person with a "plan" is happy, they are happy because they finally have a way out! I am in no way discounting the findings in the autopsy resport that suggests homicide not suicide, this is a medical examiner and it should be respected. Sam DID NOT kill himself, even though all evidence of behavior indicated it psychologically...seriously, look it up.

Thank you for pointing out this article...interesting. At least she clears up some of my questions in "her words" and confirmed what i myself would have thought during it...depression is a sad, dark, lonely place to be...

I also found it interesting that GSR was NOT found on her as NOTED FROM THE EVIDENCE FILE! Thats not her word, thats public record...things get curiouser and curiouser indeed!

In that public record, is there some estimation of time of death? Also, if Anne's daughter was at home with her, how could a shot be fired without either one of them hearing it? The story is that Anne had taken her daughter to the doctor that day?

I am neutral on this and will adjust to whatever the conviction is if there is VALID evidence proven beyond a reasonable doubt, BUT all the people who have been mentioned in various articles and news stories are not what I would call trustworthy witnesses. Would you honestly convict someone based on the testimony of a mental patient, someone who was later convicted of a B&E, or others who had a personal vendetta? Would you convict someone based on a comment they made in a drunken psychotic state? This trial needs to go out of this county. Otherwise, she will not get a fair trial. She has already been hung in the court of public opinion and she will not get a fair trial in Antrim County.
based on your opinion of the peoples tesimony, Anne would surely not be credible at all ...
However, what do the people who have made statements have to gain? Why would they lie? I'm sure it wasn't easy for them to say what they have ... think about it.

That is a good point, but a mental patient to determine someone's fate? There's something wrong with that picture. It could very well have been a figure of speech she heard. I would have a tendency to believe Sam's friend a little more though--strange as it all seems.

And Pam, uh, sorry, "Mary," me thinks you are not quite as smart as you think, about half-smart actually, for all the mean, obtuse, comments you made about Charlie Koop and other law enforcement officials during the course of this long weary investigation. Me also thinks you may find they are a might smarter than you....about X2; for shame for being so crude and stupid. You apparently left your common sense laying on your paint palette every time you turned to your computer for a few poignant lines to put on Topix. My dear, have you ever heard that turnabout is fair play?

And our dear, steadfast, Deb Zarafa.....you're quite a hoot! Where have you been of late too? Even after Richard went before the court and asked to be released from representing Anne, and the court granted said release, you were still, months after the fact, in public comments and statements alluding to the fact that Anne was still represented by your husband. Further, at the very same time, you were describing yourself as his “legal assistant” and thus, apparently officially speaking for him as Anne’s attorney.……when he wasn’t Anne’s attorney!
Seriously, I must ask, is the title “Legal Assistant” conferred by marriage and thus some kind of inferred official status? Or is there actually a certified position in the legal profession known as Legal Assistant, for which you must have formal training? Just wondering? The official status of “Legal Assistant” with which you seemed to so casually cloak yourself, didn’t seem to square with the slanderous venom with which you chose to described Prosecutor Charlie Koop and other Law Enforcement officials.

So.....Anne gets arrested for murdering her son Sam. And the most verbal half-witted person on here for the past 2 years, the obsequious and despicable "Mary" is now nowhere to be seen. "Mary" where did you disappear too? People think you fell off the face of the earth babe! Gosh, you sure had more than enough to rave and speculate about, and a lot of people to libel during your rants in support of Anne. In fact, This Horse has heard enough to do a little speculating of its own, having heard that "Mary" is actually Pam "Duh-wicki" (with heavy emphasis on “Duh”), the married, but openly bisexual TC artist of some renown. Some people will know her as the past president of the Grand Traverse Arts Council; others may know her by the fact that some of her artwork depicts Anne Avery-Miller in a variety of poses.

So....."Nartch"..... "No one will ever know" huh? Now that is a real scream my friend! How profound. The past 24 months have seen volumns upon volumns of vitriol and lies and the most base of rumors published herein. And you have the ignorant audacity to claim, "No one will ever know?".....Are you (and so many others) really as big, bloody idiots as you make yourself out to be?......Anne has spent her entire life playing everyone she touches like a one-man-band, aud you have the audacity to act like you're the second coming of Albert Einstein. More psuedo-experts, cry-babies, blind speculators, and other FOA's (Friends of Anne) have checked in through this portal with no honest principled information and nothing better to do than slander good honest, hard-working people, and to make every attempt in the world to mislead by more half-truths and full un-truths than any normal person could begin to even shake a stick at. Shame on you all...... hollow, naive, empty jumpers to conclusions. Pitiful dregs of humanity. At best, naive wishful thinkers......tsk, tsk, tsk.

And now for a kind word or two for the real experts in this sordid passion play......the young school friends of Sam's. Those persons who,in few, but passionate heartfelt words on here, spoke the truth from their hearts about the Sam they knew. It is difficult for a young person to jump into a slop-pit and risk dirtying themselves amongst aggressive, half-witted, full-grown pigs, but they did it anyway, not often, but they did it. In spite of all the pitiless crap they were reading here from so called mature adults, they said the things that no adult had the balls to say......and they said them because they KNEW Sam. To them he was more than just a bit player in a two-bit mystery; a non-discript throwaway in a ten cent TV commercial. He was something and he was someone, and he died at the hands of another person in the most dastardly way.

These very special young persons spent their tears on someone who deserved them......not on someone who doesn't.

Not to task my friend, but a very real "thank you" for speaking for so many.
