If I use euros instead of pounds to buy the feathers and gold, does that matter?

I am asking which weighs more, or do they weigh the same.

Before I answer, I want to make sure you aren't being *sneaky* again. So, I want to know why do you mention that pounds are used to buy the feathers and gold? I think you are trying to trick me, Mr. Sneaky.

It's not pounds, it's pence.

Well, then, I think a pence of gold would weigh more than a pence of feathers.

That's my final answer.

"Which weighs more?

No mention of buying anything.

I am asking which weighs more.

PS: of course I'm trying to trick you.

Actually, I think I need to phone a friend, first, and get the exchange rate for a pence and pound.

I know! It's a total trick question.

What you don't know, is that I know, that i can only answer your question if i know the commodity prices for gold and feathers in English pounds, which you haven't provided.

I also need to know how much feathers weighs and how much gold weighs.

If you would be so kind as to start a new poll and provide that information, I'm confident I could answer your question correctly.

I doubt it. The information you request is not needed to answer the question.

Also gold isn't traditionally weighed in pound but rather troy ounces. So in order to calculate how much gold is in said pound you would have to know what measurement was used to obtain said pound amount. There's so many to choose from:

grains
scruples
pennyweights (North American jewelery trade)
ordinary ounce
drams
grams.
carats
tolas
troy pound
avoirdupois ounce
kilogramme
ton
troy ounces

It can be so confusing, I think you may need a calculator.

Maybe you should explain how I am supposed to know how many feathers a pound will get me and how much gold a pound will get me?

Since you won't tell me. I'll assume I can get 10 feathers for a pound and .1 grams of gold for a pound. A feather I bet weighs around .01 grams.

So if I have 10 feathers that each weigh .01 grams and .1 grams of gold, the total weight of all the feathers would be the same as the gold.

So, that's my final answer ... they weigh the same.

Amirite? Do I get a trip to the prize box?

I didn't want to over complicate the question. So, I went with grams.

Go with grains. They're the same in troy and avoirdupois.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
