Oh yeah, well Dr. Emmitt Brown (an American) developed the flux capcitor and now has a Time Machine that we can use to counter those Russia ICBM's!

"Your" gas prices? Really! Just ask Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney and the boys down at Halliburton how much "their" gas prices are.
You've been duped - AGAIN!
Do you have their phone numbers?

THE ADVICE IS TO FLUSH THE AUTHOR OF THIS POEM AND THE UNITED STATES AND ISRAEL FLAG DOWN THE TOILET
REDNECK HIPPIE wrote:
Stephen R. Henninger
I WAS YOUNG AT THE TIME
I was young at the time.
It was December of 1969.
I had seen the dead on TV
And envisioned one of them to be me.
I was on my way to a land that I did not know;
Rest assured I didn’t see any snow.
I imagined jumping out of a plane,
But when it landed we heard and saw the pain.
It was hot, it was humid, we walked real slow;
There were body bags on the tarmac, all in row.
Fresh from a firefight the night before,
They were from a fighting unit called “Redondo Hardcore”.
There were small bags and large bags,
They were green they were black.
I couldn’t get it out of my mind I might get zapped.
We all loaded on a duce and half,
Drove up the road, one mile and a half.
When I got off the truck I thought,“is this it!”
I was mistaken as I took a sip.
The water was warm because of the heat,
It didn’t quench my thirst, I was beat.
They told us keep going no time to rest;
We’re young and mean and will be put to the test.
Off to a field unit I went with some others,
We were called newbie’s, those mother f_____s.
Some got lucky and were assigned to the rear,
But they did the paperwork for those KIA during the year.
My first attack came at 2 in the morning,
and lasted until dawn that same morning.
There was a regiment of NVA waiting in the tree line,
more than 200 tried to penetrate our berm line.
Mortars and rockets all over the place,
Storming the wire that was in their face.
The quad 50’s barrels quickly melted down,
in a minute or two they were on the ground.
The enemy had broken through the wire,
And had satchel charges all ready to fire.
They went for the artillery and the CP;
The ammo dump got it down by the tree.
They went very quick through the fire support base,
Hitting their targets at a quick pace.
When dawn came around the smoke was clearing,
It was very quiet but you could hear some cheering.
We countered the attack with the help of gunships,
But suffered casualties just as they did.
Their bodies were lying all over the fire zone;
We killed 100 NVA; it was announced on the phone.
We had 10 killed in action; they were very brave,
They died for the freedom, of the home of the brave.
I was young at the time; I was 20 years old
I aged 10 more years down in that foxhole.

A Soldier
http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-soldier-7/
Your Freedom he fights for you to keep
Yet the Soldier always stands strong
While you have the right to complain
A Soldier will fight for you, in the pouring rain

While he leaves his family behind
They are never very far from his mind
Remember every negative word you say
for YOU a Soldier keeps terror away for you

Water freezes at 0 degrees in Celcius. "Minus" therefore, indicates any degree below freezing. "Crazy European Invention" huh? At what temperature does water freeze in your Fahrenheit measurement?
The accuracy of Celcius is as good as any mathematical infinity in the decimal system. We do not use 5/9ths or 9/5ths as you say. In other words we can measure the temperature in as many decimal points as is necessary to our use.
It is sufficent for me to know that it is 15 degrees outside when I go to work in the morning, but a mechanic might say that the temp is 15 point 7 degrees (15.7) and someone in the lab would say 15 point 745 degrees (15.745)
Fahrenheit? You can keep it.
No, water freezes at 32° F. I think most other things do too.
Celcius is something crazy Europeans invented to artificially force the normal, natural temperature scale (Fahrenheit) into that silly decimal system, which is why it's inaccurate 5/9ths of the time and why the weatherman in Malmö cannot predict the weather 5/9ths of the time. Deny that! If it's 15 C there, it's 59°F here, so I think it's some sort of conspiracy to make you think it's colder than it is. Anti-global warming people maybe?

BTW are you posting as Faith? You have the same sense of humor... please leave the Russians alone. There are only 2-4 of them on that forum and they're very nice people.

I thought Russia had soldiers in Mexico already, helping fight the drug cartels? There were reports that at least some of the drugs coming into Russia were from Mexico so that makes sense.

That would cut down on drug smuggling. Too bad the Russian ICBM's only have enough fuel to hit Cuba.
Cuba?? Their ICBM's would head over the north pole, same as ours, so if they can go all the way to Cuba...

WHERE'S THE SCRIBBLED ONE ABOUT THE UNITED STATES OF AME3RICA AS THE BIGGEST ABUSER OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE WORLD TODAY?
REDNECK HIPPIE wrote:
Stephen R. Henninger
IT’S GREAT TO BE HOME!
In memorial to Mike Herbert and Bob Carver: the last two Australian MIAs of the Vietnam War have been found and repatriated. ALL ARE HOME
Bob:I can’t wait until we return
Mike:I can’t either. Do you think they will recognize us?
Bob:I’m sure they will…why wouldn’t they
Mike:It’s been 39 years, laying here…waiting
It’s been 39 years, wishing someone would come looking
It’s been 39 years, wanting to see our loved ones
It’s been 39 years, thinking about the day this will happen
And here it is 39 years later and we are on our way!
Mike:Why are we in these boxes that have the National flag on them?
Bob:… come on now; don’t you remember?
We were on a mission in November of 1970
Flying Magpie 91… don’t you remember?
Mike:Oh yeah… Magpie 91 went down… didn’t we… we didn’t make it back… did we
Bob:NO, but we did our duty to help the oppressed and support our Allies
We did it with Honor and Sacrifice
Mike:Shhh…they’re moving us
Look at that Honor Guard, we don’t deserve this
Bob:They must think we do
Look at all the people and the Dignitaries
Mike:(Shouting) Look there is Shane!! Hi Shane!
Bob:(Shouting) Look there is Susanna!! HI Susanna!!
Both:(Shouting) Look there is Adrian and Des!!
They served with us in the 2nd Squadron, boy have they aged.
Both:(Shouting) Hey Adrian, Hey Des,
Mike:They can’t hear us!!!
Bob:Why not!!
Mike:Come on now, think about it.
Bob:… Oh… yeah
Bob:Mike, I overheard someone say they are going to separate us.
I’m going home to Toowoomba and you’re going home to Adelaide
Mike:They can’t do that we’ve been together for 39 years
Bob:But they are, and I guess we need to accept it.
Mike:Well, if you say so, I guess your right
Bob:Take care Mike, It’s been fun, write if you have a chance
Mike:Take care Bob, It’s been great having you as a friend:
now you know we can’t write Bob.
Bob:I know, just kidding
Bob:Welcome Home Mike!
Mike:Welcome Home Bob!
IT’S GREAT TO BE HOME!!

Author’s Note:“Reading about our Brothers-in-arms and their journey home from the jungles has inspired me to write something about their journey as I feel it seen from their eyes. I am Glad that Australia was able to close the book on this issue and Hope one day that the USA can close their book also. Both our countries are very close in Ideals and National Pride and it is a pure Honor to know that Australia was by our sides in that conflict.”

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
