I've had many pleasant experiences here at Topix. Made many wonderful friends. Lately though I find more and more people using multiple names for the sake of their own pleasure to taunt, hurt and ridicule others. This is a nasty practice that keep getting worse. I have chosen not to post at Topix for a while since this has happened to me more than once. I realize how busy you people are but if something gets flag to bring attention to it, maybe someone could look into it a bit quicker instead of waiting until it is so out of control that everyone hopes it will just die out and fade away. I know this is a public forum and people can pretty much say what they want but, in my opinion, intentionally hurting someone is wrong. I sympathize with what you go through because I do moderating at a couple of boards so I'm not a stranger to your task. It's hard work and not an easy job to keep up with these people since they bounce around so quickly and are continually change names. Eventually I will go back and post but for now, reading is what I will do. And truthfully, I miss not posting. Topix is a great place and I hope it will continue with maybe a couple of small changes.
