I have a friend who is a customs agent at the Can/US border.
Its just a small not heavily used border crossing, but she has already this summer, confiscated 62 handguns from US citizens coming here.

The queen is the titular head of our country, yes, but I'm not sure what bearing that has on our gun laws.
In any case, its not a total ban, as hunting rifles are permitted, and while hand guns are strictly regulated, they are permissable, under stringent conditions.
The US is your country, your laws, but I question thos who get all indignant because they are limited to the number of hand guns they can purchase in a month.
I know, I know, one doesn't need a hand gun to kill, but it sure makes it a lot easier.
I'm not at all anti gun, as I know how to handle a rifle, should it be necessary to do so, but I believe it is my responsibility to ensure that the weapon is securely stored.
If you must have hand guns and semi automatic weapons, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are safely maintained, and kept from children , and those who would use them to do harm......no?

First of all I didn’t know they even busted kids for pot in Canada, but I’m not sure they would be denied entry even if they were. There have been cases of rock stars being busted for heroin and still allowed to enter the US.

Anyhoot, with regard to Obamamomma...an independent friend of mine was watching the democratic prelims and noted that 1) Obama sounded to much like Osama and 2) Obama appeared much more feminine then Hitlerry...thus he coined the phrase Obama-momma...and being the simple minded simpleton that I am it stuck...now you know the story...you gotta a problem wif dat? I DO know!
Stood in customs line behind one of our guys, while setting out on a business trip to the US.
When asked if he'd ever been in jail, he admitted to being busted for pot possession (2 joints), at the age of 18.....20 years previously.
Not only was he denied entry, the customs officer screamed at him at the top of his lungs, that he would NEVER be permitted to enter the US.
ANY sort of criminal record is grounds for denial of entry!
