For all those who voted "No one wins in fights to death", may I point out that the one who isn't dead wins? ;-P

Chupacabra would run/jump circles around these guys. He's more agile with the qualities of many.

Godzilla is bigger and badder than the other contestants.

What made the original Godilla roar.
Often heard in the Jap movies, never bettered. Have a nice day: Ag ps. Mega quake due in Papua, this century (Hunter ridge thru Melanesia-papua-Sunda arc-Sumatra & Spice Islands-S.Philippines-Central Marianas). Will probably sound similar to Godzilla @ time (+ monster mosh building destruction & bloody great big tsunami). Godzilla got my vote. |

You're most probably right. But I have to add this little bit because I read how they made the original Godzilla roar at least in the first movie from the 50's. I read this article long ater I took up the bass: Godzilla's roar was made by slowing down a tape of the drawing of a bow across an upright bass. Godzilla was my childhood hero, and I have a fondness for the bass.....who knows, maybe Godzilla is responsible for my love of the Bass, lol! |

Thanks for the info, I tended to think rather similar of classical violin music (wanted to run away screaming with arms in the air going "aargh"). Was the bass electric or double? have a nice day: Ag ps. There is a similar mechanism for the "Tardis" in the UK series Doctor Who which was done by drawing a plectrum up & down a spiral bass piano wire while the "Blue police box" Time machine faded out. |

Interesting. Thank you. Dr. Who played here for awhile when I was young, and I liked it very much. It was not high budget but it was still very captivating. I remember the acting was so good that the characters drew you into the reality, so to speak, of the story. The first Godzilla roar was done using the sounds of a double bass. I've been trying to recreate the sound even a little on my double AND electric, but just can't get it, lol! |
