I want to go to a nudist camp. What really happens there? Does anybody know? I have so many questions?

1. Do you go in a locker room to take your clothes off when you arrive?

2. Are there separate women's and men's locker rooms?

3. Are there separate women's and men's bathrooms?

4. Do nudists pee in front of each other?

5. Do nudists check out each others bodies?

6. What do you do if you feel a hard-on forming?

7. Do people understand if you get a hard-on?

8. Does anybody say anything if you penetrate a girl by accident?

9. Do people openly have sex there? I went on-line on a site at a nudist camp and they showed a girl playing with her boyfriend's dick.

10. Do people get upset if you check out their body? Do they always expect you to look them in the eye and noplace else?

11. Is being nudist a secret, like if you see these same people somewhere else, are you supposed to pretend you don't know them from a nudist camp?

12. What do girls think about the guys bodies?

13. What do the guys think about the girls bodies?

14. Is it really "non sexual", that you get to see so many bodies, that you don't just get turned on by seeing a naked girl?

I would love it if anybody can answer these questions. I went on-line and learned something about the nude world, but I still have so many questions.

Also I can add, I want to go to a nudist camp to see females. I don't care if they are old and out of shape, I still want to see tits, butts, and snatches. So please answer if people go there to look at other naked people. Thanks.

Sound like you want to go for the wrong reasons. Grow up a little then think about checking one out.

I have been to many nude beaches around the world. They are mostly family friendly.

Let me try to answer your questions.

1. Do you go in a locker room to take your clothes off when you arrive?
ANSWER: It depends on what type of place you go. If its just a beach, you undress on the beach. If its a resort, you undress in your room and probably, but not necessarily, wear a robe to go out to the activities.

2. Are there separate women's and men's locker rooms?
ANSWER: Again, it depends on what type of place you go. The answer is the same as #1.

3. Are there separate women's and men's bathrooms?
ANSWER: Of course!

4. Do nudists pee in front of each other?
ANSWER: NO!

5. Do nudists check out each others bodies?
ANSWER: Sure, just like we check out each other's bodies on the bus, at work, or anyplace else. We are all still human.

6. What do you do if you feel a hard-on forming?
ANSWER: A erection is a normal occurrence. No problems.

7. Do people understand if you get a hard-on?
ANSWER: Yes, they understand that its a normal occurrence.

8. Does anybody say anything if you penetrate a girl by accident?
ANSWER: I don't understand how that would happen by accident. Again, most nudist (or Naturist) resorts are family friendly. What would your family say if you accidentally penetrated a female dinner guest at your parent's house?

9. Do people openly have sex there? I went on-line on a site at a nudist camp and they showed a girl playing with her boyfriend's dick.
ANSWER: NO! Although there are some Hedonist resorts that are completely open, sex is not the reason people go to nudist resorts.

10. Do people get upset if you check out their body? Do they always expect you to look them in the eye and no place else?
ANSWER: It depends on how you check them out. They would have the same reaction if you checked out a girl at work, or a neighbor, etc.

11. Is being nudist a secret, like if you see these same people somewhere else, are you supposed to pretend you don't know them from a nudist camp?
ANSWER: A long time ago a girlfriend took me to a nudist beach in California. She failed to tell me we were also going to meet her parents there. I was the only uncomfortable person in the group.
Some people might want to keep it a secret, some may not. Let them decide and make the first comment.
12. What do girls think about the guys bodies?
ANSWER: The same things they think about guys bodies in the textile world.

13. What do the guys think about the girls bodies?
ANSWER: The same things they think about girls bodies in the textile world.

14. Is it really "non sexual", that you get to see so many bodies, that you don't just get turned on by seeing a naked girl?
ANSWER: For a first timer you may get turned on. But it wears off after about 1/2 hour. Then it just looks like everyone is wearing the same uniform. Of course some uniforms fit better than others.

What are the right reasons to go to a nudist camp? If you are surrounded by nude females, wouldn't you notice them?

People go because they believe it is a healthy way of life.

Only in some countries is nudity considered only sexy, or dirty, or at least taboo. Many countries don't think about it at all.

At a beach in Holland I saw many entire families going nude together. That included mom, dad, kids, and in some cases all 4 grandparents.

In Japan there used to be (maybe still are) communal baths. But they wash themselves with soap and rinse before soaking in the hot water with their family and sometimes with strangers.

As for the first question, there's no separate locker rooms. What's the point, everyone will be nude together. The first time I went to a nude swim I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't matter which locker room you went to. Men and women disrobed together in either one. That's the whole point of going nude. There may be separate restrooms but I've never see it yet. Men and women share the same restroom and bathing facilities, we're already nude, why should it matter?

As for any overt sexuality, it may happen but it's rare and not a sanctioned part of the AANR creed. I hope none of your concerns keep you from trying the freedom of going nude, especially with others.

Teenage boys are naturally oversexed, so of course they try to hit on girls in nudist camps.

Actually rule number 1 in all nudist resorts is that you must carry a towel, whether it is yours or theirs you MUST always sit on a towel even on outdoor chairs and benches,
Number 2 is that IF you happen to get an unwanted erection; yes most nudists and more specifically naturists understand, but landed resorts are regulated by organized nudist societies like AANR American Association of Nude Recreation and to keep that membership resorts will respectfully request that you use the towel to cover your erection and if you play with it openly you would not so respectfully be asked to leave especially if children are around.
Not all resorts have lockers, but as soon as you pass through the gate and out of sight of the general public you can undress. you could choose to keep your clothes with you, leave them in your car or possibly they have lockers. However the pool, sauna and hot tub areas are strictly nude areas.
Bathrooms are designated, men and women, but usually they are unisex with one toilet and one sink with a door that locks.
Showers are usually open or may have two doors one saying men and the other saying women, but walk through one and both doors lead to the same row of showers. Hehehe.
The best thing to do is to check with the resort before you go. Check their web site or even call them and ask them any questions you want. Trust me as an ex-employee there is nothing they haven't been asked before, but expect one thing and that is a background check before you ever get past the gate.
Some resorts are adult orientated and some are family. Some are strictly one sex or the other and some accept anyone. Again check with the resort you plan on going to and check their websites because usually your first visit is free with a coupon you print up on their websites.

Not you again! Of course nudist boys are looking for a girlfriend, but not because they are over sexed. Because they are boys and the same goes with girls. Quit claiming to be nudist you LIAR!

Teenage boys hit on girls at nudist resorts, at school, at church, and wherever else they may be.

By the way, teenage girls have been known to hit on boys at the same locations, too.

BUT, it was killing me - talking to her face, when all I wanted to do was oggle at her bits. It aint that easy!!

Re: question #11--
I have seen it posted in at least one AANR-member Resort--that it's not considered good manners to ask somebody too many locator-questions. The guideline was to ask where somebody lives *OR* what they do for a living--but not both.

Some people live & work where their Nudist lifestyle would never become a social or professional liability. This is as it should be, but there are places things are NOT as they should be. If you don't already know me, I could be anybody--including some out-of-work nobody you will never find a lawyer willing to sue--up for taking off my clothes to get some dirt on you for somebody, if the price is right. The point is--you don't know me, so a lot of things about you (at a Nude Resort) SHOULD be none of my business. See what I mean?

Any time I'm in a social-nudity situation, I find it works well to let the other person do the talking about job or where he-or-she lives. If I have any question for somebody that might BE none of my business, I prefer to point that out first, and to state that if it *IS* none of my business that's OK. First time I went to a Nude Resort was in 1975, and this has always worked well for me.

Oh... some resorts have showers on the outside-wall of those *other* rooms with plumbing. The idea is that everyone there is already dressed for a shower, so it's no big thing. Best regards.

Well news flash that might make you feel better. It is actually ok to look at those bits in a nudist venue. Think about it, if you weren't supposed to look then they wouldn't be naked would they? Imagine going to an art musium and told not to look at any paintings, but that's not the point. Sure the body is out there in the open for all to see, but what you quickly learn is that there is a lot more to the person than just the skin and you learn that as you get to know the person who the skin covers.

I don't know a lot of people who are one religion or another ashamed to tell what religion they are to anyone at work or not. That said; I am the same way. I have no problem telling anyone that I am a nudist and even that I live in a family nudist community. Most times what I get is "I could never do that" or they ask a lot of question, but no different questions than are asked here on Topix.
There are people who don't want anyone to know that they are nudists and I respect their privacy IF and only IF they tell me so. Otherwise I just talk to them exactly the same as I talk to a stranger on the street. Funny thing is that nobody has ever told me that they were uncomfortable with me knowing something about them. Never has that happened.

I don't know...but the most popular guy at a nudist camp is the one who can carry two cups of coffee AND 6 donuts at the same!!

Seriously though, check out Croatia, they are really into nudism there; there are lots of camps. I go nude to get an all over tan, I think most people do it for the freedom. I've never been to a nudist camp but I expect after a while you become oblivious to the fact everyone is naked....seen one seen em all so to speak.

I don't understand the problem with nudity at all. We are all the human race and like any other animal on earth we have only two sexes male and female.
Sure some people may change up but if there are any changes its to the other side or perhaps unfortunately a necessary change like a mastectomy, but even still whatís the big deal? Something may be missing from inventory, but we are still left with only two sexes. In reality I feel sorry for people who canít handle seeing other people in the raw. It just shows how immature they are and how poorly their parents raised them. I for one raised my kids to be adults.

I happen to agree with you 100%. But I also know that we live in a Victorian society where everything is dirty. That's why I choose to keep my predilections to myself.

Thanks for getting back to me. I don't know if the issue was religious. IIRC the place was the only AANR-resort in the state it was in. With 20 years as an Enlisted and some Security-Clearance training, I could come up with quite a list of guesses why they posted that. People who have not set foot inside a church or opened any religion's holy-writ in 30 years--still try to make Nudism a "moral-objection" issue. They've never been there but they "heard all about" what goes on. They are sure nobody who knows better will speak up (how would you know what goes on unless you go to those places, too).

I can't condemn any person who might prefer to keep a Nudist lifestyle out of the reach of creeps. I can't even take it personally if he or she isn't sure I can be trusted. There are not many people shoveling bull in their birthday-suits, but it only takes one! I have more, but this isn't a publisher's forum so I will get back to you. Tonight it's gotten late, and "I have promises to keep..." Best regards.
