Masturbating is a very normal, healthy part of sex. If you and your wife are both comfortable with yourselves and each other, and are honest and open, you shouldn't have any problems with it.
So what's your problem? Are you hiding something? Do you have sexual hang-ups? Are you insecure?

No we dont have any problems like you describe above. It just seems a little awkward and embarrassing for both of us because she caught me. She still has not confronted me about it and its been a couple days. It was awkward when she caught me because I was able to hide it so easily before. Now it just seems a little weird if I think about doing it because I have it in the back of my head. Should I go on with it and act like nothing happened?

okay listen bud, women are just like guys, horny, we're all human. we all masturbate, but women generally aren't as comfortable as men are.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about doing it again (obviously I will regardless) and seeing if she does catch me. Not sure on what she would say, but I guess its worth a shot. Has anyone had this happen to them? It would be nice to hear from someone in my same shoes.

What the hell?!!! Who cares if your wife or husband catches you masturbating? When I was married the first time she walked in on me doing it she asked if I needed alone time or if I wanted her to help. I said either way was fine with me and I would have been the same way with her, but when she did her thing I was always at work. We often went shopping for toys, games and videos. However maybe it would have been a good idea to figure out what kind of person your mate was BEFORE you married her.

That's why I believe in laying the cards out on the table as to what type of person you want to get in a relationship with even as soon as the very first date.
