I liked that bit about no one else gets sick of your cooking.
Mind you, I'm not complaining.
My wife cooks well too.
LOL I wasn't being conceited. I think if I served them tv dinners evry night they'd eat it. As long as they didn't have to do the cooking.

Was for you.
As it happens, I do too, left over from last night.
Greek special, a favourite, loaded up with the best Greek feta cheese.
We're pretty spoiled for good food here in Sydney.
Every conceivable type, with so many migrants here.
I particularly like Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Lebanese, Italian and Greek.
Also Indian and Pakistani, and a lot of the middle Eastern foods as well.
Try Lebanese ice cream if you ever get a chance.
Sounds good. I will try any ethnic food as long as it doesn't set my mouth on fire with the spicy peppers.

Lebanese ice cream? What is your favorite flavor? From what I read about it the ice cream seems to be flavored with apricot or orange blossom essence in many restaurants.

I don't mind the gore.
It was just that the most horrific movie I ever saw, had none.
Have you ever seen the Final destination movies? Talk about making someone paranoid. These movies freak me out but I endure them with my daughter. She loves the scary movies but is to chicken to watch them alone. So I get nominated.:O

<quoted text>I'm sure Zoey will see it first considering I have to wait an extra month for Netflix to release it. That's ok. Plenty to keep me occupied.
I don't think actual horror movies are being made anymore. Most everything claiming to be is either just a thriller, rated PG-13 or a gore fest. Although I might be willing to make an exception for the Paranormal Activity series. I've enjoyed te freshness of those and thought they were well done. Number 4 is allegedly on the way.
I watched the Paranormal movies and they are freaky. But then again I have been freaked out since watching The Exorcist back in the 70's.:O If you liked the Exorcist, you may like The Devil Inside.

<quoted text>Or The Blair Witch Project. Another of my personal horror favorites. To me, te last real classic horror movie was Halloween though. Plenty of death but very little actual gore. Used to be the most successful independent film ever made, and great use of William Shatner. ;) Another decent creep fest, but not quite horror, is The Ring.
Jamie Lee Curtis will forever be remembered for her famous scream on the original Halloween. The Ring was good. That one made me sleep with one eye open for a week. The Blair Witch Project made me swear to never go camping again.:O

The Amityville Horror and The Shining are two of my old favorites. Nicholson was iconic in this movie. Heeeere's Johnny!

Baskin Robbins and Ben & Jerry needs to bow down to Coldstone. OMG the ice cream is too die for. My favorite is the butter pecan with added pecans and caramel. Good thing I have to drive 45 miles to the nearest one or I'd really be in trouble.....

Yes. Baskin Robbins is good but not as finger-licking good as Coldstone. Never heard of Ben & Jerry. I think Coldstone is my so far #1 place because of its Chocolate Devotion. I am a MAJOR chocolate lover and Coldstone just hit home with that ice cream of theirs. I've tried the butter pecan ice cream all by itself.... Not my flavor.

There are 37 Ben & Jerry's ice cream stores in CA. 6 around the San Fran area. You should google it and check it out. They are famous for their varieties. B&J is also sold in many groceries.

Do you realise how totally arrogant, not to mention ignorant, that prejudice sounds.
With that attitude, it's not hard to see why some people like to fly planes into your buildings.
That comment just makes the world think maybe you just deserve it.
The truth must hurt. Also remember I'm just the "Mexican" of the thread. I can pick and choose my battles similar to you and OZ and NZ.

Imperialist nations get what they deserve.

<quoted text>I have to agree with to here. God forbid someone should say Mexico pr hispanic countries don't count. Someone would have lost their top.
I'm referring to pro Muslim govt.or pro military/dictator type govts. on how they treat the law breakers. Franko even made that point to Hal before. Just sayin.

Mexicos economy is humming along. Last I heard Brazil was making major strides but that was long ago that I heard that.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
