Philippines: Land of Paradise, Beautiful Women, and Friendly People:

We all from time to time dream of our own little enchanted island, surrounded by the beautiful blue water and sandy beaches. We dream of peaceful lazy days basking in the sun. We dream of heavenly sunsets. We envision boats sailing in the distance. We can almost smell the fresh food cooking on a beach-side grill. We imagine the feel of the calm breezes blowing softly against our face.
Every red-blooded American man (every man for that matter) fantasizes about beautiful women. We all like to be surrounded by friendly and hospitable people. Men long for a woman who is charming and devoted to her husband.
But does such a place and people really exist? The answer is yes. Such a place and people does indeed exist. The place is called the Philippines, and the people are called Filipinos.
I am an American man. At age 33, I married an American woman with four kids. I helped her raise the kids. I helped provide a home for her and her kids. I did everything I possibly could to make sure her and her kids were taken care of. I worked outside the home. I cooked. I took care of the laundry. But, like a fool, I allowed myself to be blinded to the truth about what she was doing behind my back. I was busy working and providing for her and raising her children, while she kept herself busy cheating on me behind my back with other men, including cheating with her two ex husbands. How many America men out there can relate to this? I am sure there are hundreds who can.
After helping raise and provide for her kids, she divorced me and took everything I had worked and help get. I left with basically the clothes on my back. After my divorce, I spent the next eight years living alone. I had lost all hope of having a happy marriage and family.
Then one day I saw this article that talked about true and devoted love. And the rest is history. I have been there, and done it.

Phillipines is a wonderful place , with absolutely delightful women . I relate very much to your story ..Why would you want an American woman again ? Im from Australia by the way , haven't been to the USA since 1999 .

Last year ( 2008) I spent 2 months in Thailand , but I also love Cebu and Manilla .

Believe me, I have learned my lesson. I married a beautiful Filipina lady. The difference between my ex American wife and my present Filipina wife, is like night and day. There is comparison.

Dont worry about them 2maarte , you are very beautiful and I even see by your picks you have been to Aussie . Some are just jealous ..

no.. i've never been to australia but hugh jackman is my fav actor!! hahaha!

well - i've lived in los angeles since i was 4.. most of my extended family still remains in the islands of batangas & quezon province.. philippines.

Yup,another thread for the insecure creatures to hate. They will be here whining about their boo-hoo stories again calling us names just because they are jealous of Asian women.

I live in the Bay Area in California and there are plenty of Filipina girls here. They are very exotic and friendly also

cebu is boat loads of trip away from batangas - you have to probably hop a few thousand islands to get there from boracay.

the highlighted part is where i'm from - white sand beaches as well..

I am sure you are right about the haters. I hope you and all the rest of us good people will not allow them to hinder our good discussions, as difficult as that may be. I started this thread, hoping to attract and interact with some like-minded people. There is so much that they can learn form each other. I welcome everyone's friendship.

You are a fighter. I wish we had more people like you.

I don't think it is always about the haters. I think regardless of culture, race, creed etc. There will always be bad ones as well as good.

The same goes for Filipinos. There is no point putting all of them on a pedestal and stating it as the land of paradise since every land has both good and bad.

Many of them are beautiful, intelligent, sexy, loyal, caring and will look after you but there are also many that are the complete opposite.

It is easy to get caught up on the fantasy so much that you miss the reality.

I was referring to the good. The Philippines is beautiful. And, for the most part, the Filipino people are friendly and well-mannered.
