according to the CDC, region 6 ( which includes NM) had more people die from the common cold than H1N1 (aka Swine Flu)..

its to bad this man had to pass away.seems our technology and science is not up to the task of helping with some of these virisus. There has been more cases than is being reported I know of three. washing your hands continuly and being vigilint in keeping germs down is a must.I never eat out I know what germs can be spread that way I worked in the industry and it would make you gag if you only knew what goes on.Most are good a cleanliness but i only takes one to pass on germs.I saw a health care worker reading about the flu in a book it was interesting to here him say it scares the beegeeish out of him.Think we are being told the whole story? This new H1N1 vaccine has not been tested enough.Makes me think of the MOvie LEGEND with Will Smith,careful we should be.

I take my own lunch when I know that I will be traveling for the day. Its more nutritious too. I try to avoid the dust bowl crowd like the Shiprock Fair. Go a day earlier if you must.

WTF are you talking about? Shiprock fair has passed and is not mentioned in the article.

All ready have family members sick with some kind of stomach flu brought home from school.Every where you go you see bottles of antibactirel soap this is a good start but does not replace soap and water and being considerate around others.Nows a good time for every one to pratice the manners we were taught as a child and teach others that might have missed this important lesson.SPEAK UP DONT BE SHY IT MIGHT SAFE YOUR OR SOMEONE ELSES LIFE AND A WHOLE LOT OF GRIEF AND SUFFERING.

Technically no who is sick has the flu...either you have a cold or H1N1. Isn't it sad that doctors are too lazy to test for the flu...
